MajikaruBanana (3 years ago) #6638472Okay this is no where near as bad as the the CE figure... jesus.
But for the price, the QC issues are disappointing; though I didn't have any issues other than the scarves being tricky to slot in. Overall nice sculpt and pose. Other Hayabusa figures are dated or worse (I'm looking at you 1/4 NGII version).
DEFINITELY not $300 material. But if you find it for under $200 with no major issues, I'd be content.
Its on sale at thinkgeek for 180.

Halcian (3 years ago) #5920300lol this is the exact problems with mine... The middle kunai slot on the right leg is too small for the kunai to fit in all the way. The scarf holes seem to be shaped wrong for the scarf because I'm pretty sure I don't have them in correctly. I just fiddled with them until I could get it to fit.
As a whole though I think the piece isn't that bad. I haven't tried the light up feature yet so I don't know how that is. But I'm not too disappointed knowing some of its short-comings. I feel like I want the Ayame piece too to complete the collection but we'll see how it's looking around that time.

I have the same problem with the slots for the kunai/sword and the scarves. The scarves were what really bugged me (I believe it is the right scarf - it is not what it looked like in the product photos and it cant be oriented in the same way). I complained and Multiverse sent me replacements for them - problem is it didn't fix the scarf issue. However, if you look past the error(s), it is still a solid figure (I'd give it a 8/10).

RealityRush (3 years ago) #5286821Jesus christ do these things have any QA? The one I got has paint all in the slots for pieces so I can't fit anything together, the scarf pieces aren't fitting in their holes properly, one Kunai slot is too small. How the fuck was this thing going for $300 at normal price? Garbage.
