I see, that's a big gap indeed. Like I posted earlier, the headpiece has two pins that are supposed to fit in the sockets in the head. When putting the headpiece, make sure they're aligning correctly. If they're not, I think you can try to fiddle with the pins a little bit.

marseille (4 months ago) #31342218I know it's an old post but I'm gonna answer this in case someone else has the same issue.
I finally got my Saber Alter last week and it's the latest re-release version. I exchanged the headpieces today and didn't notice any ugly gaps, the pieces fit quite well. But I got a little startled when I removed the headpiece, because one of the pins didn't come out with the headpiece, it got stuck in the head. Luckily nothing broke, the pin just got stuck and I was able to remove it with a pincet and put it back in the headpiece. If you're having issues with the headpiece not fitting well in the head, maybe you can try to move these two pins a little bit so they align better with the sockets in the head.

if so, does your headpieces (the two that are interchangeable) fit the head reasonably? For me, there are some quite ugly gaps between a the headpieces and the hair on the figs head, somehow it doesn't align well. will provide some pictures if someone can elaborate
