beccachu92 (7 months ago) #25914824I just got one from Mandarake and have the same issues. The arm isn't strong enough to support him, so posing is very limited. The hat just pops off easily and generally looks pretty bad. And most frustratingly for me, the exclusive soundplate doesn't really fit on the stand with him, especially because the arm that's supposed to hold him up is too weak to be able to move him around much.

the joint of the neck that is no more than 360 ° is a real problem. I do not understand why they changed a joint that was perfect before!
ps. also Baoh gets and eagles of drifters have this new joint that limits the movements of the head !! I do not understand these odd choices by medicos

looking at WF photos and the final product, you clearly see that there are two different products. at the WF totally painted. while the final product has beige parts (see pants) made with a pre-colored resin. there is no trace of an airbrush painting. another difference is in the eyes... they are smaller!

hitoki27 (6 months ago) #26326985You mean the effect that is supposed to go into the arm?

No, I mean the exclusive speech plate.

Aarongeddon (8 months ago) #24519398I hope it only happened to me and not everyone, but he doesn't even come with any base arms to even pose the effect with. The arm used to hold him up doesn't fit it either.

Aarongeddon (8 months ago) #24519398I got mine today and this is by far the worst SAS they've made. Paint is sloppy, but the worst part is just the design decisions. He comes with 4 steel balls, and an effect part for throwing the balls. I hope it only happened to me and not everyone, but he doesn't even come with any base arms to even pose the effect with. The arm used to hold him up doesn't fit it either.
He only comes with one other head, and it's the generic Medicos shouting face. Rather than sculpting the hat twice, the hat is balljointed and comes off to be placed on the other head. Because of this, the heads have a huge bald spot on them where the hat connects. This wouldn't be a huge issue, but if you were gonna make the hat removable why not just make it a feature and fully sculpt the hair?
The neck is not articulated at all like the other Jojo SAS's. I know it wasn't on the Juuzou SAS (I assumed because of his character design) but all the Jojo SAS's have had articulated necks. It's just absolutely lazy.
And, by far the strangest part of this figure, his head is NOT on a balljoint. They reused a wrist joint for his head. I'm baffled that they did this. His hat has a balljoint and his head does not.
Stupidly exclusive, sloppy paint, and lazy design, all for 8,000 yen. I'm really worried about the rest of the Part 7 figures now.

Well, just received it today and actually I do not feel he is bad at all, I find him pretty good to be honest. Don't know if I was lucky but except for some minor paint defect common in almost every figure of this scale, and a right hand weak joint, I have a really good feeling about him. The articulation overall is rather optimized considering the scarf (even though it limitates the base stand poses), the only real issue being as said previously the neck, but this isn't the first time a figure has this type of neck joint: Kira figure had one too. I actually really like this figure, but I'm perhaps a bit biased, Gyro being my favorite character, and still he's expensive, this must be recognized.

Plus: the effect part tucks in perfectly but increases the distance between the joint and the hand.
