I"m going through the same thing with mine. =( I'd had her in her box sealed for over a year waiting to put up my detolf cases. I was so shocked when I finally opened her and saw yellow all over her... I've tried everything I can think of from lukewarm soap and water to vinegar windex to a magic eraser. It took a bit of the color off but at this point I'm just accepting it's never all coming off. I actually just got on her page to see about replacing her (thought like you it was a storage issue) but reading how many other people are having the same issue? I'll save my money. The only real thing I know to do at this point is trying to pose her in a way that hides as much of the staining as possible. I'm wondering if any other nendos with metallic parts have this issue...?
Part of me hopes she gets a re-run, but it would suck to spend the money again on the same thing. The master sword and mirror shield also stained the inside of Wind Waker Link’s hands a bit, but luckily that’s not visible if he’s holding something.

If anyone has tips on how to fix the staining it would be GREATLY appreciated. Good Smile really screwed up on this. Very disappointing considering I have over 2 dozen figures from
them and have never had an issue like this.
Again, any tips on how to address this problem are greatly appreciated. Wow. I’m unpacking my Nendoroids after a recent move and I’m just noticing how bad the paint bleeding is on this fig. Poor thing has yellow stains on her white gloves and skirt :( Next to the belt is particularly bad. I immediately panicked wondering if I did anything wrong or if she got too hot during my move (I lived in Arizona), but it seems like everyone else is having the exact same problem. What a shame.

Some advice if you’re buying this figure brand new:
Be very careful unpacking her, her belt, necklace and shoes all have a paint that transfers on her. There’s not much you can do about the necklace, but I advise immediately separating the torso and legs and putting the belt and feet into a warm soap bath immediately. As you soak the pieces the gold paint that transfers should come off and you can wipe the rest of it away. I also recommend using some kind of sealant on these parts to prevent future transfer as well as regular check ups. She’s an amazing figure otherwise, it’s just a shame about the paint. Good Smile should at least publish a care guide for her, to prevent ruined parts.
