Finally arrived today and I just unboxed it. Incredible addition to the collection, here's a breakdown of why.

I'm a pretty seasoned KanColle scale figure collector, I mostly only dwell with scale figures, and even for my standards, this simply rise far above everything else I have in terms of attention to detail.

Attention to detail is a phrase that's thrown around too often when describing figures, but this really hits the sweet spot. One of the thing you will come to notice immediately is the paint job. Absolutely phenomenal, never have I come across such thoughts given to painting figures. The white of the shirt has an undertone of pearl color and is slightly reflective. Metal elements are all shiny and beautifully painted.

For a KanColle scale figure, the size is pretty big, and really shows off the curves of the Kashima. Body sculpting is probably one of Amakuni's strong points, and they really do not skimp.

Paint job is extremely well executed, even in regions where its not visible to the eyes, such as joints. (pfft GSC...) and speaking of joints, right arm is detachable with another optional hand, and left hand is also detachable with another display option. The ship armament is also optional to display. The artilleries are rotatable to a certain degree (pun intended), and what can I say, this figure is designed by collector, for collectors. Ship parts look heavy, but is actually very light, preventing future bends. And to be safe, Amakuni even threw in a solid stainless steel support pole.

Also has 2 bases, depending on how you'd like to display it. Overall it feels absolutely premium when handling, and absolute masterpiece. Highly recommend this. My love for Amakuni shoots up 10 fold
