There was so much potential for a figure like this...but here we have a cheaply made, shiny, and clunky toy. The design is gorgeous but it's poorly executed

The quality is so shit even on a prototype, what a waste of a beautiful concept. Another slap in the face from Bandai. *shakes head*

Bought her brend new from a local seller for just 30 euro and I'm so happy with this figure!
Chibiusa is tiny but soo cute and well made, Helios is good too (but not as good as Chibiusa) and them together are very sweet.

I'm pretty impressed by this statue. I think it's a little bit more impressive than the Princess Serenity version. I think Helios is beautifully executed and is a bit bigger than I expected and Chibiusa looks quite nice too. The base is super pretty in this release.

I will say the stand supports for Helios and Chibiusa are distracting and I wish they could have done a better job incorporating the supports into the design. Helios' is really big. I also agree that Chibiusa's stand support just doesn't really work. It barely stays on her legs and it doesn't seem to do anything to balance her. I bet it has a sweet spot you have to perfectly align to get it to work, but it doesn't conform to her legs easily. She sort of flops around in her foot peg hole. She's a bit off for me, but I just left it.

Anyway, for the $75 Canadian I paid for the statue I think it was worth it. I'm interested in seeing if Bandai makes any more of these, but I don't suppose I'll buy more Chouette's due to how big they are. It is a really creative series, though, so it would be neat to see what they made next.

Picked her up today.

There are some obvious design flaws. Chibi-Usa doesn't like to stand properly. The attachments are fickle and the peghole in her foot is too big so she's loose on the base.

The sculpt actually turned out better than expected. She's really pretty up close. Paint job is a bit too pearlescent but the flesh tones and accents are matte so that makes things better.

I don't regret the purchase in the slightest. This figure warms my heart.
