dontbedong (5 hours ago) #38745142Can't tell if TOM is shipping from their Japan or USA warehouses; hopefully Japan or they'll be delaying it yet again while they wait for their USA warehouse to get it.
If you check your orders through their site, you should be able to get a pretty good idea. Individual order pages don't have the shipping method listed, but pages that list multiple past orders such as "All Orders" and "Reserved Orders" do. (Seems kind backwards to me.) It's on the left, directly under the shipment ID. If it mentions USPS/FedEx, they should be shipping from their U.S. warehouse.

2BorNot2B (17 hours ago) #38726026Even more proof Rightstuf has no idea when she's coming out: I commented on one of their Facebook posts about 5 days ago: "Question: Aniplex's Jalter comes out on the 12th. Will you be shipping her around then, or will there be a delay between her release and shipping?"
They replied to that comment YESTERDAY (the 13th) with: "There should not be any delays as long as she arrives to our warehouse in time for the release date. [mb]"
I mean, the idiocy and irony are self explanatory. That slogan of "Anime is our passion" isn't really convincing lol.

I've never bought a figure from Right Stuf myself, but keep in mind that they're based in the U.S.; Iowa, to be exact. Expect them to have the same 1-2 month waiting period common to U.S.-based figure shops, because all their figures are being shipped en masse. Any U.S.-based shop that doesn't go through that waiting period is very much the exception. This is not going to be considered a "delay" by these companies since it's what they expect for all their figures. A delay would be something that they weren't already accounting for, like a strike at a port. The support rep's response is probably perfectly valid from their perspective because they don't expect Jeanne shipments to arrive for some time. Hence, if she does arrive on time as they see it (likely in September or October) then they will ship her out with no delays.

In the future, I would suggest asking something more along the lines of "What is your expected shipping date for this figure?", since the answer should be more exact and the question is harder to misunderstand. In this current case, you could also mention the July 31 (placeholder?) release date on the item page, since that gives the support rep a better idea that there's a lack of up-to-date information on the customers' side. I would also recommend not being so quick to call people idiots. What you get out of customer support depends on what you put into it.

On that note, while I've never bought any figures from Right Stuf, I have been a regular customer of theirs for years. I've contacted their customer support on multiple occasions and my problems have always been solved efficiently.

Zephiria (1 day ago) #38710234Anyone got a shipping notification from Nippon Yasan yet, or have they still not started shipping her out?

Golden Week is ongoing or almost over in Japan. Some vendors are out during this celebration They posted a banner saying they would be on vacay up to August 15, 2018 whereupon they will respond to POs, emails, etc. on an in order received when they got back.

Golden Week might affect other merch sources in the distribution chain also. So if the distributor is behind notifying likely N-Y will be also come time to play catch up.

ericd1017 (1 day ago) #38703680Whats a good price range for her.
I got her for about 220 shipping included.

I only paid $145 from Rightstuf, and upgraded shipping to 2 Day so that jacked my total up to $188ish.

Klon Solo Rei basta!
RavenWolf1 (1 day ago) #38713024I ordered her from Aniplex+ to be delivered to BiJ. I'll use BiJ's forward service to get her from Japan to Finland. I'm wondering why BiJ didn't receive it. Is it because they tried to delivery at Saturday

It depends on the delivery service what happends next. Either they try to deliver it again (since it’s already Tuesday I doubt that) or someone from BiJ needs to collect the parcel from the delivery service depot.

I once had a similar issue with White Rabbit Express‘ forwarding service and I had to e-mail them.

Klon (1 day ago) #38697376持戻り means the parcel will be returned to the depot. The above tells something about a failed delivery in Taito (a part of Tokyo).
I guess you want your parcel arrive in Finland, not an address in Tokyo? If so, than it might possible you got a wrong tracking number from BiJ or your parcel has been delivered to the wrong address.
"Worried" might not be the right word, because in worst case, your parcel will be returned to BiJ after some time. But why to contact BiJ to solve the issue as soon as possible?

Is it because they tried to delivery at Saturday? What to do now? Do they try to deliver her again later or what? I have used BiJ forward service successfully before when I have ordered stuff from Rakuten and I never had problems with delivery.
