Got her today. I was opening up the box and could hear something lose rattling inside which was a bad sign. 3: Turns out the big piece of hair on the right side of her face broke off during shipping. ;~; I had my dad help me try to glue it bad and it looks okay but its really disappointing. .__. Specially since it was A/B condition. I could tell it was rather lose inside the Styrofoam container so that explains why it broke. I guess I would've hoped they'd have double checked that considering it was used but then again maybe they didn't want to open it if it wasn't? Gonna email them and see what they say, but man, such a bummer. :|

On the plus side she is very lovely~

Edit: And her neck has a huge crack in it. :[ I've ordered polystone figures before but the case for this one was not secure at all. @_@;

Reinier (4 years ago) #1716729Your welcome :) I am going to try to cut back soon as well since im running out of space to store my figures but before I take a break and cut back on my figure spending I want to try to buy up the figures that are on my wish list that I know will go up in price because the manufacturer wont be re-releasing them (figures by manufacturers like Max Factory, Native, Orchid Seed, Okayama Figure Engineering, and a couple of other manufacturers). That way I wont have to pay 3-4 times as much as the figures originally cost when they were up for pre-order.
It is indeed good to limit yourself though because it can be quite an expensive hobby, on my most expensive months ive spent $1,300 - $1,400 on figures (mostly because I had purchased figures which were out of production and rare on top of my regular monthly pre-orders which are usually at least $500).

Yeah exactly! It's so hard to hold back when there's all those great ones coming soon. I've had to buy a lot of my favorites for much higher way after release too, it sucks! 3: Luckily I've acquired all the ones I missed for the most part so that's been nice finally ~

xCommando (4 years ago) #1716620Well that's super nice of you! :] I personally would also prefer the black one but the two in general seem extremely rare and I couldn't pass her up especially in A-/B condition. @_@; But then I also don't have as much in pre-orders as you~[Which that is awesome btw o-o;;] I've been trying to cut back recently.
