murialita (1 month ago) #37481921You'll notice a trend. Nobody is bitching about the actual figure. Tamamo herself is one of the best Tamamo figures out there. What everyone is bitching about is her accessories.
Her shirt is nice, but it has a really nasty seam line where the two halves join, and it is next to impossible to close, unless you put in some effort. After soaking it in hot water for a while I was able to get mine to close, but the seam remains.
The joint on her towel is quite loose and it can fall apart easily. It also has a tight fit getting it in place, potentially leading to some of the blue paint rubbing off on her arm.
The hat looks amazing, but doesn't really fit on the pegs on her head tightly.
The metal rod of the umbrella can leave black marks on her palm as she has a fairly tight grip on it. You'll only notice them if you remove the rod though. Some people also seem to not be able to get it angled properly so it rests in the support pillar.
So yes, the accessories do have lots of issues. But as I said before, Tamamo herself is amazing. Her face is great, her hair is adorable, her tail has a great fluffy appearance, and my god that body! I own two of her so I can display her with and without all the accessories at the same time. And if you take about 2 steps back, you won't notice the flaws in the accessories.

You're quite right. It's the reason why I'm not that fond of castoffable figures because some have unsightly seams. The concept of a translucent castoffable shirt is a nice idea on paper, but I've never seen one manufacturer put it off...

selling mine for 120 EUR
she is in perfect condition.
There are no issues with the rod for the umbrella and the towel stays on her pretty good.
