This is scary as hell when you know how fragile Phos's legs are.

Carousel (2 months ago) #31525550My cursor keeps hovering over the cancel button for this figure. Is no one else as bothered as I am over how this figure has his ver.1 body with his ver.3 face and no-version hair (it's much too short in the back)?
I had two preordered but I'm thinking of using that money to buy one of the various GK's instead.

Well this figure is based on the original illustration of the manga...So if you really observe the bodies of those characters you will know the eyes and hair of them are quite different from the anime. The eyes are smaller, and the hair is blooming more in the manga. So the eye and the hair is still version 1 of his body, it's just a difference between the manga and the anime. Now the figures of Phos and Antarc are all sculpted according to the manga, though I like the art of anime Houseki no Kuni more.

Long comment ahead so View spoilerHide spoilerTo me this figure is more of a piece of art than a true and accurate depiction of Phos as a character. However looking at this as merchandise I do understand your point and have to agree about the version mix. If my priorities were different I probably would not even have ordered this.
Regarding cancellation I'd say make a pros and cons list for keeping or cancelling your order or simply ask yourself why you PO'ed Phos in the first place.
But most importantly you're a fan of the series anyway I suppose whether you own this figure or not doesn't matter. Also it's your money so might as well spend it on something that will actually bring you joy.
Hope that was of help. :)
