rusty5000 (1 month ago) #39483273I spoke to Native and they sent me a new body as part of their policy. It came completely cast-off and no detachable hand. So if anyone wants a body with a broken hand they can fix feel free to contact me.

ViRGE (2 months ago) #37835142Was it a clean break at the peg? Or somewhere else? At least in my case, with the clean break at the peg, I can confirm that it was a piece of cake to glue the arm back on. So I'm not sure it would be worth your time to file a claim if it's indeed an easy fix.

TomTheCat (2 months ago) #38470008Amiami pre-owned A-/B 35980 Yen: www.amiami.com/...Interesting. This is not the most ridiculous run-up in price post-release, but it's also not a small one. That's nearly 50% over MSRP for an opened figure.

Between this, AnimeNPC getting shafted, and N-Y charging 50K for NIB figures, I'm starting to think BINDing genuinely mispredicted demand and under-produced here. This isn't a figure I would have expected to actually be collectable in the "limited quantity" sense.

So I have to say that while I originally wasn't sold on the mirror base, I've had a change of opinion.

The damned thing is ridiculously large relative to the figure, and it doesn't really seem necessary to have a mirror when the pose is leaning back to begin with. But after trying something new, it finally struck me that I was missing the point: the mirror base isn't there to reflect the image of the figure, it's there to reflect overhead light on to the figure; to light it from below. The high gloss coating on her lady bits is a lot more apparent once you put some light on it.

Though the flip side is that since it's plastic, it's really fragile: it scratches easily and because it's not polished I've already had paint from her finger tips rub off.

Wow, a lot of new comments since my last visit. Thanks to VIRGE for the thorough review of this figure. Even with a few negatives, this figure is still a good one. I am happy to have bought this figure at the retail price after seeing it is now being list at 40,000 yen.

terumi56 (2 months ago) #37726585They did basically take your money. If you haven't received shipping info by now i would email them and dispute those charges asap.

Thankfully my order arrived a few days ago. Sorry to know about the crappy experience you had with your pre-order.

rusty5000 (2 months ago) #37824190Yea it is the arm. The thing that gets me is that they use EMS to send all international parcels and EMS parcels are insured for up to 20,000 yen free of charge should the contents arrive broken. This would at least cover a large portion of the cost since this figure was damn expensive. Was it a clean break at the peg? Or somewhere else? At least in my case, with the clean break at the peg, I can confirm that it was a piece of cake to glue the arm back on. So I'm not sure it would be worth your time to file a claim if it's indeed an easy fix.
