Shipping prices are definitely where we get messed with the most D: I could buy so many things from Amazon if I weren't paying more for postage than the actual item.

For Australia at least, AusPost has a US proxy service, "shopmate"... You can collect several items together and send it over, from what I understand. That way at least the cost is not too bad.

I've discovered that for exchange rates, Canadian dollars are a lot closer to Australian dollars! So maybe it'd be a little cheaper to buy from Canada, than from America.
