Man, I know this line isn't very good, but I really wanted figures for the outers.

I'm on the same "lost pre-paid pre-order from Anime-Island" boat. But thankfully my bank helped refund me yesterday, so I wanted to place my orders again now that I had the money back but... It sucks to see how much is being charged for her at the shops that still have her.

I did see her for 7000 yen on mandarake. But honestly, her rod doesn't even fit in like it should and from the video someone posted in the comments, the sculpting doesn't look that great. Do you guys think she is even worth that?

Ayatanne (14 days ago) #26787666was anyone able to attach the weapon as in the instruction?

No. In fact, her hand is opened too wide so she can't hold the glaive securely. It can kind of balance in her hair, but the glaive just floats behind her instead of resting on her other hand. I put blue tack in the hair groove, but even that just results in the glaive floating above her hand (better than behind I suppose). The arms are definitely not sculpted to hold it properly. I'm surprised the glaive doesn't at least have a peg so it can lock into her resting hand.

On top of this, she has a deep scratch on the back of her left leg, white paint speckles on the front of her skirt, and her petal sleeve isn't connected cleanly to her bodice. Also, what's up with the squirrel cheeks?

All in all, definitely prize quality and overpriced; wouldn't recommend unless you're dying for a Saturn scale.

Ayatanne (14 days ago) #26787668Wtf is wrong with the weapon, its not possible to put the weapon as on the instruction.Yeah I don't know what's wrong with it but I couldn't attach mine properly. I ended up just having her hold it with her one hand. Gotta love that Bandai quality.

waterbottle (17 days ago) #26651112I also ordered from Anime Island, but did 10% down instead of full payment, so I'm thankfully only out about $10. Bummed, however, that now I have to scour the internet to try and find some place to buy her.

Same here.
I'm out about $8 since I used some store credit. Good luck hunting.

Klon (18 days ago) #26621593From all MFC members I'm the last one who can give you a needful hint on that matter. Yesterday I found out I can't order a figure on my whishlist anymore. I was totally desperate and really depressed. Today noon I found a shop where I was able to order and after a minute of the feeling of release from despair, I felt desperation again for having spend so much money on such an outrageous overpriced piece of plastic I didn't need and don't have space for.
This evening I got a message from the seller telling me he's sorry, but the figure is sold out. And now again, there is nothing I want more than this figure.
Well I guess all the advertising from merchandise companies made me insane and I shouldn't spent so much time on figure shops.
You should probably think a short time if you want the figure or not and whatever you may decide, don't debate about it anymore, be happy with you decision or you may end like me.

I'm trying to decide if Saturn is worth the money too. I didn't preorder her anywhere, and I would still like to see some more pics before deciding. I'd feel a bit sad to just have her by herself without the other outers, but I reallly dislike the Uranus & Neptune figs they released, and the upcoming Pluto to me just looks weird, I don't like her face. But, you know, at least I know I will be able to get Saturn, even if I have to pay a bit more. I recently found out there was a random little goods set that came out last month for an anime i like that doesn't get much merch. I totally missed it was coming out, seems like only AmiAmi and Hobby Search had it (neither of which I buy from that much as they usually don't have a lot of stuff I want), now it's sold out everywhere including all the Japan-only stores I could find, and I know from experience stuff from this anime rarely shows up in the aftermarket, especially random small goods like this. I mean, I guess I'm saying, at least if it's a figure, it's got a good chance of showing up somewhere sometime. Not so with a lot of other things.
