Since the first announcement teaser, it feels great placing the pre-order deposit for 2B. Glad it wasn't the stress of a lottery. Now it's the brutal and painful waiting game.

Makes me think of Sakuya. I still can't afford her, & I believe Sakuya's the only doll I've been interested in from Volks so far. It's a shame... :( Why can't life be a little more giving with these sorts of things? Soo stressful!~

No A2? Is it that hard to get the trio made? My favorite characters always get notched... I like 2B, but not as much as I like A2~

Basically as long as you can pay the 10,000 yen deposit when you make the preorder, you have close to an entire year to save up as the rest isnt required until they ship in probably october 2019. (VolksUSA may do it differently, I think their deposit is just slightly more though).
Hope that helps anyone worried about not being able to have enough money.
For 9S I will just put a little away for him each month (although I'd already been saving since he was announced, I ended up needed to spend some of those savings on other things). Keep in mind that preordering is still a commitment to eventually pay the whole amount as the dolls are made to order, and Volks reserve the right to blacklist you if you flake.

The difference is the sculpt, not the face-up. Customs can be beautiful, of course. But unless they are heavily modded, they typically do not have the minute differences that make the character.
No, Volks' sculpt is not an exact replica of the in-game model. But I'm pretty sure that wasn't their goal - it definitely is a well done SD-styled 2B. I think the wig and eyes are just fine. Even if you don't like them, they're easily swappable so it's not a big deal.
I'm of the same opinion, I was half expecting the custom Bellechan talked about to be a Bjd, since a lot of sculpts out there would be much closer to the in-game model than this dollfie.
I think I might buy this afterall since the Taobao automata costumes are not as well made.

I didn't like the fact that volk's A2 looks more like a teenage, and... blonde hair? I don't like the eyes either. They should be more greyish~blue than a vibrant blue... 9S is perfect tho <33
