MongerMonger (5 months ago) #22537336I don't care for 2B either. I like A2 a lot and I'm sad they are making 9S, but not her.

I didn't think they'd be making an A2, since she would have the same mold like 2B. We can only hope that they bring out an outfit set + plus to make your 2B DD into A2~

Kitsune88 (5 months ago) #22464235I'm no big fan of 2B, but I would go for the head to make an A2.

BloodFlower (6 months ago) #21949851Sorry but no, almost all darker Volks clothes stains if you do not wash them properly first. This applies to both doll sets as well as clothes sets (I own plenty of clothes from Volks that either are known to stain or have stained my dolls). They sometimes do a white lining on their clothes to avoid staining but not always (my guess is that they at least do this to the blindfold). But that won't stop the clothes from staining on contact with the other side (for example staining the hands). I'm sure this is going to be a stain monster.

Perhaps. I'm aware there are outfits that stain easily.

All I can say is that over the past 6 months, with outfits that have black, dark blue, red, brown, plus black thigh-high socks, I haven't had any problems with staining. No body stockings or masking tape or anything. I'm pretty satisfied with the overall quality of Volks outfits with respect to staining.

Stains are not difficult to remove. Plus if it really came down to it, individual parts can be replaced pretty easily. So I'm not particularly worried. Although yes I'll probably take extra precaution with the blindfold, if needed.

Shikaree (6 months ago) #21352436It depends a lot on the material and dye. Just because an outfit is black does not mean it will stain. I'm sure Volks, more than anyone, is aware of the possibility. I can't say from experience, but I'd like to think they'd at least take reasonable care with default outfits.
