GimmeFigs (13 days ago) #47702672Yeah, she's only $125. You're right that it isn't that expensive to me. I paid more than that for way simpler and less detailed figures. 1/3rd of the figures I currently have preordered are within that price range or higher. And you must be lucky, because most of the Aniplex figures I got have at least one tiny error such as paint chips on Jalter, and let's not even talk about the original Homucifer and her notorious leaning issues.
But hey, I appreciate you taking the time to show me where you think there are issues with the paint. I still think you're being WAY too picky though. Maybe you see these issues because you think she's expensive and need an excuse to not get her? Just speculation. But in the end it's your collection and your choice to pass her up, no concern to me either way. Maybe she won't have any "paint issues" with the final product, and you can pick her up and enjoy her with the rest of us!
Peace, fellow Meteroa fan.

It is true, after all, it is the criterion of each one that makes us decide to buy a figure, or not. For me 15k is a lot of money, and I am very strict with the quality.
I hope that when the figure goes on sale, she is perfect, and I can buy it with a smile on my face.

Figura4 (13 days ago) #4770172215800 yen, man! And I can see in small pictures, mistakes in the painting. I have Aniplex figures, which do not have a single mistake in the painting, and they are much cheaper! And I can use a magnifying glass on them! And Aniplex is not a cheap company !!
I am disappointed, 15800 yen is a lot of money to find excuses for problems in the paint, I'm sorry, I think so. I can understand some small mistake, no figure is perfect, but here I see too many.
If you're happy, paying this amount, maybe it's because for you, 15800 yen, it's not much money, for me, it's a lot of money, too much.
If they do not solve those problems, I will not buy it, and I will regret it, because I love the character, and when I saw the prototype in gray, I fell in love with it, but 15800 yen, with paint problems !! There are no excuses!! 15800 yen, she should be perfect!

I guess to each their own. You're entitled to your opinion obviously. I just like people to provide proof when they want to complain and criticize so harshly.
But... I also think you're being nitpicky as fuck. Outside of the few little splotches on her belt (that would probably rub right off) and the microscopic bleed from the silver buckle onto her belt, everything you pointed out is stuff a normal person would need a magnifying glass to notice. I also paint models and Warhammer minis, I know how hard it is to be "perfect." I don't think the stuff you're pointing out is worth the amount of complaining you're doing, it isn't worth the dramatic ranting about how the quality of figures is decreasing while the prices go up. You're literally talking about paint lines a fraction of a millimeter off center. And some of the things you pointed to I don't even see a problem with at all. In general figures are getting better in quality in terms of materials, design, intricacy, and painting. Even Prize figures can have quality as high as a low end scale or better. Maybe if your standards are so unrealistically high and you can do better, stick to garage kits. Just saying.
