cookie_on_fire (2 months ago) #39117851Wow, just checked the order status on TOM, and it shows up as shipping soon. Just like with Utaha-senpai, I'm impressed that there's no 1-2 months wait.
So, here's the deal. Tokyo Otaku Mode not only operates in The United States of America, but also in The Land of the Rising Sun, of course. Some figures are warehoused exclusively in Japan, for reasons unknown. That's where my ITEM #549592 and ITEM #691963 shipped from, although this is much less common than domestic shipments. Furthermore, you can expect most goods, literature, and fashion items to ship from their Japanese warehouse too. If you would like to know whether an item is traveling the one of the Seven Seas to get to you (released on time) or whether it'll be riding along an interstate in a FedEx truck (released about 3 months later), you can either add it to the cart and inspect the shipping options or scroll down the item's page and read the Shipping Info section.
