Desudes (2 days ago) #37537214Their prices skyrocketed but I don't really have complaints about that particular fig. It could realistically cost something like 8000 yen for its size / quality but for me this is the best CC fig I've seen so it was somewhat justified.

That is the "basic problem" people are discussing over for years now. This kind of attitude (mostly from Japanese Otaku) and the willingness of companies to exploit that.

They know it's too expensive, they are saying it's too expensive but they are buying anyway "justifying" it with "it's only marginal too expensive" and/or "there is no other option to get this character" and the likes.

Most people were or are guilty of that kind of behavior including me but I "got over it" for the most part.

As we saw with this figure not completely though but I am on the home stretch -_-

El_Bastardo (2 days ago) #37492564To the people saying they have a "defect":
You are supposed to push the leg down into the peg.
After just pushing down her supporting leg her other leg "hovered" a bit over the stone, yes. Just push it down (peg into hole) correctly and everything is fine.
Also my hand is just barely connecting to her belts not touching her hips. I think this is supposed to be that way.
I started collecting figures over ten years ago and didn't but many new ones as of recent.
I know the topic is beaten to death but man, really? I paid ¥13400 for such a small (delicate/fragile) piece of not so detailed PVC?
I am not too unhappy about the fact that I slowly but surely start to stop actively collecting.
The Japanese figure industry overstepped the price boundary long ago. This is just another confirmation for myself that the "golden age" of figure collecting is over (at least for me and in my opinion).
I am happy about such a piece of "nostalgia" from one of my all time favorite anime ever but yeah -_-

Ansive (3 days ago) #37437404I don't think I had your issue.
I removed her now and rotated her 90 degrees to see how low her other leg goes. It dips slightly under the rock level.
If you don't feel major resistance just hold her foot with four fingers and pull it down.
I also noticed the metal peg in the other foot has some wiggle. You could try to loosen it up so that she tilts a bit forward to reach the rock.

Oh so you mean yours is the opposite of my issue. The foot on the rock wants to sit below.

sinneddragon (3 days ago) #37437221What did you do to get it to stay down on yours? Did you just bend it?

Ansive (5 days ago) #37408814My piece came with a small defect as well. The hand on her hip is floating by about 3mm from her body. I would have to somehow bend/melt her hand closer to her hip. Or just keep this "posing look". See photos
