I don't feel the scene, it's too much going on around him and too little about Ed.

I feel the scene, all the things around him are great and the focus is just on Ed. Take my money!

I feel like the only thing that could make this one better (for me) is both his hands touching the ground like he usually does when doing transmutation.

I first thought this is a Tsume one. But Oniri - respect. Looks really great. I love the diorama and Ed looks spot on (at least in the pictures).

And Guts is coming too. I'm even more curious for the Death Note statue now.

Fallency (2 months ago) #36437355Oniri has exposed its first factory statue (the one you will get home) at a local shop in France. From the feedbacks, it was perfect compared to the prototype.
Ed was exposed there too ^^, and everyone was suprised by the dynamism and the volume of the statue, an outstanding statue really. Although from the pictures you can't genuinely judge how Ed fit with this base, you should see it in real life. That's why I recommand you if you have the opportunity to come at the Japan Expo at Paris, and see it with your own eyes.
I will get Ryuk and Light from Death Note devised by them, I will make a feedback for it, probaly late this year or early next year.

That's great news! I preordered Ed as soon as he got available and I had the chance to snatch a cancelled preorder for the Death Note one, can't wait to receive them <3

Looks awesome!! It's neat that you get more display options with a few different face and arm parts. The fists are really cool, as is the built in lighting, but the effect of the dirt cracking down the centre looks not quite right to me.

Compared to Koto's, I feel like the pose here is more dynamic and energetic, and I like the flow of the cape better.

This is too expensive for me, but for those that order, this seems like it'll be an excellent centrepiece!

SkiaEsh (2 months ago) #36405183Yeah, that was another thing that made me hesitate. Ed actually is only a small part of the statue.
Yeah, he is over $600 plus shipping and from a company I don't know anything about. With resins and polyresins, I would be worried about buying from a new company because crappy packing could ruin the figure.
I don't like Koto's face as much, but Ed is more focused on, which is a big plus. Considering the price, it should really be close to perfect, so I would choose Koto's, too.
