I just received the prepainted version. They really did a great job with the cast and paint. I know it’s most latex but they painted the smallest details flawlessly. Unfortunately, the packing was not par with their paint job. I received mine with some paint chaps in his right fingers, and the mouth piece was missing :(
I might be able to fix those, but it was a bummer considering the price. Still happy to support more TnC and nitro chiral figs.

Oh wow...so reading the comments there’s a variant coming out that’s bigger, more lewd and (probably) cheaper...it looks cleaner too. Mmm kinda miffed I purchased this one pre-painted...oh well looks like I’ll be owning two I guess (^▽^;)

AshuriiKareshi (4 months ago) #38281155There's a prepainted figure that's pretty much the same except it's 1/6 that's been announced ITEM #740263. I also think the 1/6 will be cheaper than trying to find this one prepainted. People paid over 20k for a prepainted one or painted it themselves, so I think you'll be lucky to find one that costs less :( (unless you're happy spending a lot XD)

yes!! thank you <3 i appreciate the info! i'll be looking to get the other one now :3

0crybaby0 (4 months ago) #38259081Ugh he looks amazing! I really hope I'm able to paint mine even half as good as you did yours. I don't want to start until I have the right equipment _(:з)∠)_
Thank you!! He was such a smooth and pretty kit, very beginner friendly since he doesn’t have many colors. Just take your time sanding each piece so you don’t shave off some of the chin like I did :’) and just have fun with it because it’s just amazing finally finishing him and seeing the end result. For reference I followed these blogs blogposts.php?c... and they helped a lot. I’m still new to it myself but if you need any advice I’ll be glad to help if I can^^ I’ll post a blog later on with more pics too.

Sekhmet (4 months ago) #38252583I just uploaded some pics! For my first GK I think I did pretty good, although it’s not like he was that difficult XD

yurirainbowz (4 months ago) #38252785Yo, awesome work!! I haven't asembled mine yet. If you dont mind, I'd like to know what sealants you used. They both did a great job for the suit and the rest of the body
Thanks! Here are pics of what I used. Make sure to use the white primer for the skin. I used gray and it bit me in the ass later. Very difficult to cover with. Or if you can only use gray make sure to do a coat of white before you do the skin. The rest can use gray or white primer it doesn’t matter. The smaller can is flat clear (matte) sealer #TS-80. The tiny bottle off to the left is the gloss sealer X-22 but I sprayed the whole figure with the flat clear first and then his outfit and his lips got a coat of the gloss.

I’m currently working on four other GKs that I’ll post pics of as well and then I’ll make a blog post about my steps. A note though, if you use an airbrush you will get a SUPER nice matte finish....I wish I had left it like that and not added the gloss, especially since now we will have a pre-painted one with the gloss.
