mikki-malu (6 days ago) #30895371The height must be 14,5 cm if they're meant for Kirito and Asuna in the first place. Might fit for Eren and Levi too (if someone's still into that couple :D) but probably will be smallish for taller figmas like Gilgamesh (sadly) or Shirou 2.0 And white loafers look like white school shoes to me. Still very tempting, even if I can't use it with tall figmas.
I recently did a head swap on Kirito 1.0 and Shirou 2.0 (and Asuna 1.0 and Rin 2.0) and Shirou and Rin's heads seem to look alright scale-wise (even though figma Kirito is shorter) (I posted the pic on MFC so you can see). And I've put Gilgamesh's head on smaller body types before and it generally looks alright (Gilgamesh on P4 Yuu Narukami).

So there's some small hope for a certain amount of flexibility. But I suspect you are right. If they went with Kirito's general height it's going to minimize a lot of options for male figmas.

Kam (6 days ago) #30895348I'm not even arguing against the fact that you can undress the bride and not the groom.
I've only been correcting the false information you've been replying to me with.

I never had false information to begin with. All I said was that there was no cast off option for the groom. The bride got cast off and the groom didn't. I didn't need any more information as to HOW it was done, because the bottom line that anyone cares about is the fact that the male doesn't get the same option that the female got. That's literally it. No need to go into the details of how it's done, because it doesn't matter. At all. There is no alternate option for the male and it's frustrating that once again the male figure gets less.

KalasRaven (6 days ago) #30895290Ok... but that was never my point. Regardless of how the pieces come off or what extra bodies you get or not, the bride is still cast off and comes with an option to remove her clothes. The groom does not. How is this a difficult concept to understand?? XD

Editing this comment because I don't want to clutter this page with even more comments about this:

I understand that you're forgetting what you replied to me with that started this.. Now pointless conversation that I never asked for.

Let's retrace our steps:

I commented that you can remove the skirts of almost all figma, and ask how you would make the groom cast-off.

You reply with that it's entirely different.
That the bride comes with an entirely different body and that it isn't as simple as removing a skirt. +"your point", for some reason. I don't know why. It isn't the topic of this conversation. Perhaps from this point you think it is and that's why you keep parroting it?

I reply with that there's no mention anywhere that she comes with an entirely different body.
It is as simple as removing a skirt.
Really, she'd be a few K yen more if she had an extra body for the Honeymoon night.

You reply that you were trying to make a point (You can't strip the groom).
A point, I remind you once again, I'm not even fighting - because it's a fact.
You can't strip the groom because that's how solid pants are molded.
Just like removable skirts are merely a byproduct of assembly, only now they're banking on it.

All I asked was how you would make the groom cast-off without resorting to shift (Like the bride) - which during all this, you still haven't answered.

In the meantime, I got some small ideas.

Though I dislike it, there's cloth like Sunred and Vamp.
You could like, have his shirt be detachable (snug-fit pvc) to show his chest.

When you start going Shift, replacing whole body parts, you'll just be increasing the price. Might as well buy another Archetype:He or Free! figma or something. Would probably be cheaper, too.
Hey, there's your alternative!

Kam (6 days ago) #30895264No, she does not. I don't see any mention of an extra body like with Gilgamesh on the product pages.
All I'm seeing is that she'll work similar to Figma Kuroyukihime.

KalasRaven (6 days ago) #30895242No, this is an entirely different thing. The bride actually comes with an entirely different body to put her in lingerie. Definitely not the same thing as simply removing a figma's skirt. The bride gets cast off and the groom gets nothing, as you can see from the pictures.

Kam (6 days ago) #30895219You can remove the dress/skirt off of almost any figma - only now they're promoting it as a feature and making you aware of it.
How'd you make a figma like this "cast off" without resorting to shift bodies anyways? I'd rather not go the cloth route.
