BlackLemon (1 year ago) #31120456Looks like the same pose as Daiki’s Maria?
misssi79 (1 year ago) #31152101Don’t get me wrong, I’m gonna preordered but they just reused ITEM #287299
I would’ve loved it more if it was mirrored instead. I hope they make a color variant :)

looking at it closer... did they actually reuse the sculpt?!
they look identical

tsubasahanekawa (5 months ago) #60542647I wouldn't outright say I regret buying this figure, but I had to blowdry her underwear to get them to stay even somewhat in place because they weren't sculpted to fit her very well, and lining up the pieces and getting them to stay in the front AND in the back is a nightmare.
I also don't love that not very solid base, and mine already wiggles a little on it, so I don't have high hopes that it won't be leaning in a year or two. I don't know if how pretty the figure is will make all that annoyance worth it.

yea the underwear are pain in the ass to make it stay the right place, also like the red peg (under the shoes)that goes into the base are wayyy too soft and i have to like make the peg angle toward the heels before i can put it onto the base.

FigyourEd (5 months ago) #60542960They should've made the cast-off pieces magnetic.
I don't know why more figure companies don't do this. I guess it's more expensive? I dunno but any cast-off with tiny pieces should be magnetic, imo.
As for the base, that's always a potential issue when dealing with poses like this. *shrug*

I wouldn't mind the pieces not being magnetic if they weren't so flimsy and thin so they were shaped better. I also own ITEM #549684 and ITEM #236217, and their removable undies are much better sculpted to their contours and snap in place much more securely - likely to being made with a material more similar to ABS.

The peg in her foot is not particularly secure or loading bearing either. The "main" peg in the base is quite shallow and made of the more breakable ABS material, and the "secondary" peg in her foot is also quiet shallow and made of PVC material. Having the "main" peg extend further into her foot/heel, or it being made of metal would have made it more secure. I have/have seen several other figures in gravity defying poses with much more secure bases/pegs that have felt much more solid than this one. It's disappointing they didn't make her slightly more secure.

That bottom piece was difficult to line up.
