randomdude1 day ago#98008081Mine is doing the same thing right now. The umbrella is leaning further down and would just roll when you place it in the support.
What glue did you use on yours? I’m afraid to put anything that would not allow me to remove it without damaging the figure.
I just let vanilla hold it without support.

I used gorilla super glue. Whilst there’s been a little paint transfer from her glove I’d rather that than the umbrella not sitting right and causing further damage. I simply spread it over the handle where her hand covers it and held it until it stuck and rest on the support. I have no plans to sell it so it doesn’t bother me

dlwlrmas4 days ago#97974416I’m aware theres grooves, the umbrella sat fine before but now she’s lost friction in her hand and it just rolls away. I’ve tried my best to get it to sit but I can’t, I’ve had to use a little glue so her hand holds it properly again.

I see what you mean.I’ll try a tiny piece of paper if I did encounter that issue.

Quality control on these figures are really not that high. My issue on Vanilla is the metal support rod goes through the acrylic base and is loose. If you put the rod in and lift it the rod will fall through the hole. I can prolly fix it with a putty of some kind but it’s annoying that I would have to do that.

I fixed the issue with Elmer’s glue. You can still pull out the rod but it filled the gap just enough to tighten it.

randomdude5 days ago#97973017Mine did the same thing. It would roll left or right. I managed to stabilize it by rotating the small colored holder. There are grooves on it that holds the umbrella.
It takes time and the support is not that good but it’s doable.

dlwlrmas5 days ago#97972336I know. What I’m saying is there’s no longer any friction in her hand to hold the umbrella in place so the umbrella just rolls off the support stand.

randomdude5 days ago#97972142There is a groove on the colored part of the stand. Make sure the umbrella sits properly on the grooves if it slides turn it around.

dlwlrmas5 days ago#97968868just took her off the shelf for dusting and now the umbrella refuses to sit on the support because there is no more grip in her left hand TT it's really frustrating because the support is weak af anyway and barely holds the umbrella but now it doesn't at all. There is no grip in her hand the umbrella just rolls away from the support.
