Is it just me or is this figure muuuuch better quality wise than many of Griffon's other touhou figures? Got it today and really impressed. Of course, Griffon being Griffon, there's that damned trident...
It's not gone all the way in, and I'm not trying to pull it out again...
Also Got stuck on the dress of my Nazrin griffon next to her, heheheh.

KirbysAvalanche3 (3 years ago) #4557207I really like this figure, the pose is a nice change of pace for a Griffon Figure and she is one of my favorite characters from the game, but I have some problems.First, I am afraid to take the trident out of the box for fear of it snapping in half. Second, dose anyone else have trouble with her red metallic wings staying in place, they are always falling out at the slightest bump, may have to glue it at some point.
I took it out of the box just fine, but gave up trying to put it in her hand. She has to have a tight grip on it to prevent it from slipping, I understand, but this was way too tight a fight, especially considering the length and frailty of the trident. A miniscule amount of pain from her palm even rubbed off on the end of the trident as I attempted to force it through. This definitely could have used some design ingenuity, like twisting the trident into place a certain length, rather than just brute-force jamming it through her hand like they expect you to.
As for the wing, I didn't even know they were supposed to come off on mine, they've been firmly in place since she arrived.
