I’d rather have his Uruk costume instead if they’re going with Wada/Extella art. :/

Not to mention, Pulchra of all companies ugh

Josine (1 month ago) #41662086jesus how hard is it to have a decent company make a scale of him based upon his appearance in Fate/Zero >,<
He's too shiny for them to handle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The 3D sculpting looks good (it somehow reminds me of Megahouse's canceled prototype on some points), including the face.

But we all know how Marie-Antoinette turned out in the end... Caution should be exercised when talking about Pulchra.

Interesting...at least he's in the form I'm searching for. But since I may take the 1/4 from FREEing if he comes out at the right moment, this one would only be a second choice.
I hope he won't be overpriced or ruined...

kojuuro (1 month ago) #41720791Thanks for the replies! Seems their stuff is somewhat decent now... I guess I was just worried because the only figure I know they made is ITEM #183924 and that one was apparently pretty bad... looks like I'm waiting for the prototype to come out and check out a price tag before I really decide

In the case of that AoT figure, what happened was a new company tackling a bigger than themselves kind of a project. It backfired, and understandably, everyone who PO it got upset.

However from that one incident people ended up traumatized and never bothered to actually do decent research on the company to see If their quality got stable/was still bad/got better (It also didn't help that after Griffon, a known company for It's questionable products, was out of business. making ppl seek for a replacement).
I'm not really a fan of the "made a mistake once, its doomed forever" mentality, specially applied to new companies, so seeing misleading comments bashing this one without proper research is kinda annoying tbh.

But back to the figure: The price will probably be of around 10k easily lol Figures nowdays have that price range, and sadly I doubt Pulchra will lower the price : / However their Marie Antoniette was 1/7 so Maybe this one will as well.

ilasja (1 month ago) #41689137Their quality really depends on the material they used. Their PVC figures are decent (I own ITEM #638646 and ITEM #358307) but their resin figures are pretty shoddy and lack detail due to the difficult and brittle nature of the material.Akira (1 month ago) #41694261Is very likely this one turns okay. Not horrible like that one time they did a figure and it turned terrible, but also not outstanding.
You can check the company by clicking on the name, and then check the entries for them! I was also curious at some point and did some research ITEM #198559 , ITEM #198564 , ITEM #198562 , ITEM #198561
I would say their quality is passable. Is not amazing, but is not that fantastic? I would probably put them on the same level as Plum, If not a little higher because they shade their stuff better.

kheiron (1 month ago) #41705499I also don't know much about Pulchra but I found this getting retweeted around on twitter from a JP account.
twitter.com/tot...
Basically they want to inform people who likes Gil (and would probably want to get this) about what kind of company they are. (Selling with broken parts, changing materials after end of reservation, having a dispute with the original artist, etc)
Also saw some JP tweets being disappointed about it handled by Pulchra. But of course, to each their own.

Yeah, I even remember reading some not very pleasant stuff about the parent company, Be-full, @ ANN not so long ago.

Thank you for the informations... Then it's better to wait after his release to see if it's worth it or not

kojuuro (1 month ago) #41677540How is Pulchra's quality? I don't own any of their figures, but I've seen some really mixed reviews in the past, so I'm curious to know how they are now.
