DonkeyBlonkey (8 days ago) #51242068Oh man the Keltec Sub2000 is definitely an innovative compact pistol carbine, was thinking of getting one myself but wanted something more... conventional? lol

I love it. Folding it to put in a backpack is so useful and fun haha. Shoots very well and shares mags with my glock. I love it. I have the gen 2 which improves significantly from gen 1.

CuteLover (8 days ago) #51240486Yeah I have a keltec sub 2000 (in 40) and recoil is minimal, which makes it very fun to shoot. Heavy trigger pulls can definitely be annoying.Oh man the Keltec Sub2000 is definitely an innovative compact pistol carbine, was thinking of getting one myself but wanted something more... conventional? lol

DonkeyBlonkey (9 days ago) #51210736Really great. The Trigger has about an 8.5-9lb trigger pull so that's a bit unpleasant (ended up swapping it with a trigger spring kit and sending it out for a polishing job, reducing the trigger pull to about a consistent 3.5-4lbs) recoil is about expected from a 9mm carbine, so almost non-existent.

DonkeyBlonkey (10 days ago) #51098653Nicee. Anyone could wish to get a full auto variant (which I'm not sure you can even after obtaining a Class 3) But still would be sick... Not to mention the arduous process for obtaining a Suppressor with a ridiculous tax stamp and close to 6 months waiting period lol.
Personally, I just own a RC Kar98k and a CZ Scorpion EVO Carbine in my collection (Thinking of picking up the EOTech EXPS3-0 for optics) Nonetheless, a Vector sounds sweet/fun to shoot especially with that unique boltslide that goes downwards allowing the redirected recoil essentially reduce upward recoil. Really innovative firearm that's for sure.

Yeah sadly they were all produced after 86 so it is not possible for a citizen without a class III FFL license to ever get a full-auto vector.

It's inner workings are awesome with the unique recoil mitigation system. Though it shines with full auto it is still noticeable especially when firing rapidly.

Your collection sounds cool though. I was thinking about picking up a Scorpion EVO. How does it shoot?
