The colors were perfect on the old prototype sample picture so I was considering getting this one instead of the PUP. Unfortunately I also don't like the final coloring, the hair looks too yellow and I'm not fond of the final color choice for the base either, the pink looks off. Maybe it's just a lighting issue but I can't afford to take that chance atm.
The old hair color was so much better, also thinking of cancelling my PO :/ I don’t understand why they changed it.

Amazon PO just got pushed back to November, wonder if there’s another delay.
I cannot unsee the yellow now. Oh it’s..ruined in my eyes. I’m pretty glad this was pointed out, might cancel the pre order after all and cross fingers for a better Lio scale figure.
This is just my opinion, POP UP figures are great and all, but it feels like a glorified prize figure. A bit better quality.
And I don’t want to go down that road. I already stopped purchasing prize figures.
Yes, I also think the PUPs are like glorified prize figures xD but honestly they’re so cheap that it would just be a nice addition regardless, especially for Lio who barely has any figures at the moment.

I agree. I absolutely love the base on this one but I think pop up parade has better design overall. At least they got the hair colour right with that one and for a better value too. Idk, I think I’m gonna cancel my order for this and hope they’ll release another Lio scale figure with a MUCH better design.

They got the shade right in the earlier painted prototype with the more minty pastel colour. I don’t know why they suddenly went with a bright yellow.
