This is not an original character right lol. Zhaojun （昭君/王昭君） is actually a very famous personality in Chinese history. On the Chinese figure collection website www.hpoi.net/ho... her popularity has gone through the roof. Seems to be a trend for companies to manufacture more Chinese figures as the Chinese market gradually matures and is of course immense in size.

Stores like Solaris are permanently testing the waters and set very high prices for figures where they can't easily provide more figures. On the other hand they also let figures drop in price immensely if they just got many of them laying around in their warehouse. The latter I understand, the first appears to be more of a speculation game. Just because few units were made does not mean many people want one.
About this figure: I did not pre-order her, nor do I plan on buying her later on. The base is just too large and too plain for such a beauty. Had they either made the figure more space friendly, or the base more extravagant, I had purchased for sure.
