I’d say if you order from an European store, order from French or German stores. Their prices are ok most of the times

Yeah, I'm ordering there on a regular basis. The owner is nice, but he seems to work alone and probably just as a secondary job so he is a little bit slow with everything.

I wouldn't go as far as recommending the other German stores. Figuya is hopelessly overpriced for figures, got a good inventory tho and nice merchandise at acceptable rates. Allblueworld is really expensive.

In general one has to calculate for every single figure anew wehter it's better to order in Japan or not. Cheaper figures are usually worth getting in the EU because the combined cost of delivery and taxes impacts more greatly on the lower price. Large figures are also usually worth because of the high shipping fee. Most of the time JP comes out ahead, but I noticed they keep raising the prices too as of late and stray further away from the manufacturer recommended price.

Authoritah6 days ago#81381899Otaku square does tend to have higher prices. But You can get a good deal sometimes. Like I did with Chocola and Vanilla from Native. Order total came to 500 Euro (each one was 250) and shipping is free on orders over 300 Euros. This price includes VAT as well so they turned out to be about the same price I'd pay directly from Native after including shipping and VAT.

True, true sometimes even OtakuSquare can be one of the cheapest ways to get a figure. I‘m thinking of the aftermarket prices of ITEM #780589

Stores from other countries like for example the Netherlands where OtakuSquare comes from are hopelessly overpriced. An import from Japan even with EMS shipping and customs would always be the cheaper solution.

Figureditout7 days ago#81338845After several days of thinking about it I decided to get her. But I'm getting her from an EU store (anime-figuren =21€ less than otakusquare) instead of AmiAmi, because they literally are 30€-40€ more expensive if shipping and taxes are included. It's rare to see EU pricing come out on top, but that's what happened here.
