Oekaki17 days ago#94598440The pictures on the Chan category are making me want to cancel my preorder. She looks so pale and lost all her vibrant colors. Could it be the camera quality?
Yeah I'm a little worried about that as well. Union Creative figures get a lot negative reviews that mainly stem from their promo pics looking nothing like the final product. If they didn't over edit their pics they wouldn't be accused of false advertisement. I'm still hoping she turns out nice though as I've heard they've been improving lately.

Once again I'm not trying to be a hater or anything, if you like it you like it, I just don't think the price is justified, and it seems most other people don't either considering such a unique and overall appealing figure has so few people ordering it. Then again most average people don't think any figures are worth their price so we're all in the same boat either way lmao.

I get that point but then I question in how any shibuya figures sell at all, yes it has a lot going on for a 1/7 scale but they all end up close to 40,000 yen and yet a bunch of people buy them. (Generally speaking I think the only figures a normal person could understand people buying price wise are either nendoroids, or ones by myethos since most almost look a step above a figure, they are really art)

Dane4 months ago#87670575I mean I won't judge anyone for liking this but it's clearly way overpriced. 17,500JPY for essentially an average-ish 1/7 with no base, oh and it's an original character so the company doesn't have to worry about crazy licensing fees, oh and the company has a shaky track record with quality control, and- etc. etc...
I mean the new Myethos pre-order is 1,000JPY cheaper than this on AmiAmi, and Deep Sea Miku is nearly 4,000JPY cheaper. Just seems like there are a lot of better options in this price range. When prize figures are nearly matching some scales quality for 1/10th of the price, you gotta wonder what you're paying for.

Myethos has been the one exception in quality and not really raising prices so I can give you that. I mean it really depends on what you consider better options, if you consider deep sea miku one, I would have to disagree, there are too many other better ones of her. Also there is almost always better ones in the same price range but will you find one similar to this, I doubt it. Just so you know I put myethos and SSF as the top of 1/7 figures while most others are just there, this figure happens to look closer to myethos quality than most so I am fine with its price. (it could change after its released but the pictures look great as of now)

On a side note, EVERY company has had issues and many have issues with almost every release they have. So I don't consider a shaky track record a problem, unless I want to be nervous about buying from anyone all the time.

Also there are not many prize figures that really match scales at all, or if they match scales the scales aren't that great to begin with. (at least none I have seen)
