Your original sentence didn't mention a comparison to her illustrations so it wasn't entirely clear that you meant that the figure compared to the illustrations is a little darker (I can't really see a difference personally), so I didn't throw an accusation at you, just mentioned it could be interpreted that way~ Glad it wasn't meant.

Loria didn't complain about the character not being white but "little bit lighter". A lot of figures are not spot on when compared to the original artwork, that particular figure might've been too dark when compared to the original artwork. Many people on MFC are very strict about faithfulness to the source illustrations...
