I am curious about the figure. I am kinda glad I ordered it at a european store and canceled it in a foreign store. With these insane amounts they are charging it would get close to what I am paying in a european store and with that I dont have to struggle with any taxes or traveling time of the figure itself.

If you are willing to wait you can pay EMS and they will hold it till it can ship.

Shipping costs on amiami for those wondering: (to europe)

EMS : 9,000 JPY
SAL Parcel : 6,725 JPY
DHL : 20,700 JPY

I was charged 14,020 yen by AmiAmi for DHL; EMS was 5xxx yen but it wasn't available to my area :( so gotta settle for that.

AmiAmi charged me 20k for this if I'm going to use DHL..yikes

I looked at AmiAmi's page recently: www.amiami.com/....

It says shipping cost may be high due size or weight, it cannot be shipped with any other item, and describes the contents of the set. If I had to guess, it will be similar to ITEM #574524, which is one box.

However, due to the size of the figures, their poses, the extra display options, and the general size increase of Megahouse boxes, it will probably be an absurdly large single box for the size of the figures, like ITEM #781006, but hopefully not as large overall since the bases are not as elaborate.
