freshringo (1 month ago) #27618318I have a feeling I was indeed unlucky. I've watched several videos where people are able to replace it effortlessly. I've tried it at various angles and exerted quite a lot of force and it just will not fit in properly. :/ At this point, it is a rather small gap and depending on lighting just looks like shadow, so I'm not fussing with it anymore in case I break something.
The feathers I was able to get in, it really was a lot of pain and more force than I expected! T_T Thanks for the input!

I had the same problem with her too, i used a sharp cutter to grind very slowly the pegs of the wing until it fit.

I feel like her wings are a little heavy. Do you guys think after a while her wings will cause bend or damage on her feet and base ???

Mine did and i got the second release (look like the screw in her feet lost grip eventually), i had to use some gorilla glue to fix back her feet to keep her straight to the base , it's really easy to fix if it happen, she didn't move a single bit in 8 month now.

Solarstormflare (1 month ago) #27618315My torso slotted back on nicely, so maybe you were just unlucky? The wings will go in all the way, but it will take a fair bit of effort/force and time (took me 10 mins) and pain because I had to grab the whole wings and spiky feathers rather than just the peg bit. It's worth it to make sure they are secure. Hope this helps!

freshringo (2 months ago) #27149014After removing her torso to put on her belt, I absolutely cannot get the torso back on properly. There are grooves where I assume her breastplate is supposed to fit in against, but there's a bit of space left when I put her torso back on -- and I used a lot of force too. Also, her wings do not seem to go all the way into the slots so the clear pegs show a bit (hidden by her hair). Is this expected? My torso slotted back on nicely, so maybe you were just unlucky? Based from my experience, my Olivia fig has been in a display case for more than 3 years and everything is still intact.

I hadnt issue placing the torso back so idk.
But for the wings i had trouble too, and i usually don't put too much force, because i'm always worried to break anything. The trick is to put the wings while you have removed the torso from the rest of her body, it was easy then for me to put the wings on. Then again idk for the torso, it should be even more annoying to put it back with the wing placed ..

    Good luck ^^'
