NigeslSquire (7 months ago) #19738192Thank you! That's really helpful and I can see how that should be pretty effective. Furnature legs like that, as long as they are secured well, should last for years! I'll have to look into getting some. Do you recommend any hardware to go along with the legs to best anchor them?

Well I just used the screws that came with the legs since they are short enough and won't go all the way though the Detolfs wood base. If you have a power drill, that would make it a lot easier to screw them in but if you don't you should still be able to install them with just a regular phillips screwdriver, which is what I used.

NigeslSquire (7 months ago) #19717633If you don't mind my asking, what did you use to raise those detolfs up? Have they held up well over the past year or have they started bowing?

I used these legs from Ikea. They are called Capita and they come in varying lengths. The one I used was the longest available, 8" but it doesn't seem to have any on the website anymore other than 6" and 4". But they are pretty sturdy for me. I had them for more then a couple of years now and it's still holding up pretty strong and isn't bowing. Even with all the moving around by pulling from the legs since I sometimes don't have a second person to help moved them from place to place and the legs are still pretty sturdy. There are other type of legs that you can buy that has the same length of the ones I have 8" but I can't really tell you if they are sturdy or not.

Really nice display! It's so hard to limit it to one figure per shelf in a display case, but when you do, as seen here, you can really let each figure get the attention they deserve.

Nice "red Light" district up top too! That's a very unique setup.

ippikiokamiotaku (2 years ago) #2590607What a nice display you have. Thanks, it took me a long time to get to where I am and it's well worth it.

TDT (2 years ago) #2590410wow I really like the lighting setup you have here. Also, having multiple cases like you have is nice. I wish I had the space in this room to do something similar

Thanks, I had to drill holes on the top case to get those light in but it looks great. I like to have everything together so it is the best for it.
