About this picture

Here's my collection of Taito KanColle girls.
All but Senkan Seiki that is, she's with her crew: PICTURE #1520440.

SureFigures (1 year ago) #9696002I love how the design of each fleet is inspired by a different genre a anime. There's a ship for everyone :) I just posted my collection of scaled KanColle too: PICTURE #1537306.
Maya came in a blister pack - she's the first of the series to get such a treatment. Paint job is spot on too. Seems prize figures are continuing to go up in quality while staying the same price. Wish we could say the same for scale figures!
So many pretty boats, haha! Super cool collection. And yeah, I can see what you're saying and it is something I never have put much thought before, there are indeed many different outfits through the fleet.

I'm yet to get a scaled kanmusu and have only a couple of nendos, but these Taito figures definitely look like a worthy addition. Thanks for the pics and your impressions.

secretly-otaku (1 year ago) #9682132Ohhh, that's super nice! They are actually big enough for me! Way to go, Taito. Now I'm really interested in getting some of this. Akashi I also liked and I thought Maya wasn't as good as I was expecting but I will take your word regarding her quality. I have always liked her since she looks more like an Im@s than a Kanmusu, hehe... save for the attitude, ofc.

SureFigures (1 year ago) #9677295Thanks for the comment! If I were to choose favorites I'd go with I-19 (love the damage versions) and Yahagi (love her pose). Maya I just got and I'm quite impressed with her quality.
As far as their size is concerned, here's an old photo of mine of I-19 with two 1/8 scales: PICTURE #1161214. She looks a little smaller but pretty close?

secretly-otaku (1 year ago) #9660910Lovely group of boat gals. I always thought they were very decent figures for prize standards. I specially like Ro 500 and I-401. Could you tell me how big are they? They don't seem to be anywhere near the 1/8th scale. Maybe more of a 1/10th scale?
