Shirou and Rin (士凛) different outfits

About this picture

I did some touch-ups on my red-coat Rin custom BLOG #30938 recently. I used some putty to fill in part of the hole for the stand’s peg that I screwed up originally (see tutorial article) and I think I managed to get a matte coat applied correctly so hopefully the paint is more protected. I thought I'd take a pic of the different outfits I have arranged for my OTP.

I still can't quite put an exact reason why my collection evolved such that I ended up with four of them, but here they are! The are definitely my favs.

I just noticed that here and in seeveral other pictures, but what part(s) of the Ritsu Figma did you use?

Hi there. I used Ritsu’s upper and lower arm prices (repainted red) for the custom red coat version.

Although the instructions I found for customizing a red coat Rin suggested K-On uniform arms, I originally used figma Rin 1.0’s arms since I had one for the red joint pieces (less risk of paint wearing off). I switched to Ritsu arms when I got a couple k-on figures for their instruments not the figures. :)

They work much better (shorter, not as thin, preprinted inner white cuffs like Rin would have in that coat) and I updated my tutorial article at the end to include that explanation. :)
