About this picture

Greenhouse diorama built in a wall metal cage for flower pots. Roof can be opened, and if the left wall is removed you can hang it on a wall. No display space needed. Inspired by an artwork i found online.

EXkurogane1 year ago#59994752Thank you everyone!!
Thank you! Those tiny flowers are artificial flowers sold in some stores (both online or physical) that sell home/interior decor stuff, and also gardening stuff. Those flowers range from big ones to small ones like the ones i used, with the main "branch" in the middle being similar to a wire that's insulated with a green layer of plastic on the outside.
The flower pots, there are two main types. The clay ones, i bought them online while the plastic ones were products of 3D printing. I don't have a 3D printer yet but looking forward to buy one in the near future to manufacture everything in-house.
The main framework of the greenhouse is a metal cage. I had to use hammer, pliers and a number of tools to bend and break off a few of the metal bars to open it up on one end so that i can photograph the interior of the cage.

Thank you so much for the detailed response! I am very interested in building dioramas myself, so all of your help is incredibly valuable. I love that you can buy tiny, 3D printed vases; I am dying to get my hands on a 3D printer some day, so I wish you the best of luck finally purchasing your own!

Verdant1 year ago#59896031This is just gorgeous work! I love it. How do you go about creating your dioramas? The tiny flowers and vases look so realistic, and I am stunned by the frame of the greenhouse.

damedanbo1 year ago#59895675This is simply stunning! Fantastic work on the diorama. I love the figure too, I have been trying to get ahold of her myself.

My copy of this figure is actually far from perfect. There are scratches / irregular paintjob on her face itself, on her cheek. Fortunately it can be easily cloned out during image editing. It's a shame really because everything else about the figure is quite nice given the price.
