About this picture

A doll watching the beautiful setting sun in the west coast of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand.

I took this photo when I travelled in New Zealand in October. The essential problem for figure or doll photos is perspective problem. Here Nikon D700 and my PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED lens were used to apply Tilt-shift technique to create a new perspective structure in my doll photos with ultra-wide-angle situations. And you can see the result is nearly perfect.

For information of Tilt-shift lens and its special ability in perspective controlling, the following link is quite useful: www.luminous-la....

Happy new year to all!

I am from Viet Nam and here we will have an Anime festival and i wished to use your photo as an example of beautiful photoshoots. I will only add it to the presentation if you give permission for us to use it of course(it mean that I will print your photo out and hang it around or give it a way as prize to one of our game show). The presentation is not for profit and is only for fun of introducing more people to the world of figures. Please reply by quoting this comment with yes or no ASAP please!

Thank you very much,
