Day 17, 15/04/2014. Went Takayama in the Hida region to see the Takayama Spring Festival which is one of the 3 most famous festivals (Matsuri) in Japan. Tomoko is photoed in front of one of the festivals twelve floats which are hauled through the streets. They have very intricate craftsmanship and They have a different 12 floats for their Autumn Festival. There were lots of people in town to see the Matsuri.

I wish I could do that got to learn photoshop first. It would have saved me a lot of time waiting for a time to shoot this shot to avoid being to socially awkward. (Due to the festival there were a lot of people around and I had to wait a fair bit for a clearing of them to shoot this). Maybe in the future.
