Hej & welcome to my profile 
I started collecting figures about 6 years ago. It all started with a Miku, even though I'm not particularly into Vocaloids. The details (look at dem toes!!! and no, I don't have a foot fetish) and dynamic pose of the figure just blew me away. I was interested in figures even before that, but this one finally got me into the hobby and still holds a dear place in my heart.
Apart from anime & manga characters, I'm a huge Poison Ivy fan and collect any comic she is in, even if it is only one panel. Logically, I also have some statues and figures of her :P
Sadly, many series I love don't have a lot of merch and particularly figures. Which is why I recently got into garage kit painting (still a noob though) and trying to level up my skills with 3D software so I might be able to print and paint some of my favourite characters myself in the future.
Since I am easily swayed to throw my money out the window if I see a beautiful artpiece, I put up some collection rules for myself very early:
✨ I won't buy figures of characters I don't know
✨ I won't buy figures of characters I don't like
✨ I won't buy figures I don't like, even if I love the character

Most of my manga are either in German or English, only a few are actually in Japanese as I'm not that fluent in the language anymore :) I decided to only list my Japanese media here and have the complete list only on my profile on myanimelist instead. Check it out if you're curious ;)
