Halbred (3 years ago) #2326068Probably Spring. Before E3 for sure.Wish they would pull a Sony on region compatibility. Edit: nvm - that's only blu-ray. Edit Edit: Well, I'm guessing there is Vita's ability to play imports.

Halbred (3 years ago) #2326058It should be called "the 3DS we should've gotten 3 years ago."True! Feel bad for people like, well, you and I... who have to sell our XL soon if any good amount of $ is desired, and wait God knows how long for a NTSC. Are you guessing early 2015?

Woah! So, 3d from every angle, micro sd instead of sdhc (correct me if i am wrong here), and it actually has exclusives the originals can't run? It should be called the 4DS or something - rather than 'New 3DS'

Halbred (4 years ago) #1531373There's gotta be a way to get that peg out, right? I didn't think of it at the time, but maybe skewer it with something?
I was advised to use a small drill head, about 1/6", and drill into the peg at an angle to remove it from her foot. Then use an exacto knife to remove the broken peg on the base. Use a rod, slightly bigger than the broken peg and drill into the base and into her foot according to that size. Then super glue the rod into the new hole in the base and use it as the new peg. It's a bit of work, but I'll probably try it out in a few days.

Halbred (4 years ago) #1530925I ended up using generic grocery store super glue. I can't remove her from the base, though, as the peg broke off IN her foot. I couldn't get that damn thing out, so I had no other choice. :-(
My broken peg is also stuck in her foot :\ Guess I'll try replacing the peg with a rod and if that doesn't go well, try superglue again.

Hey, I noticed your blog post on your Gwendolyn, was wondering what glue do you recommend to fix it? I'm currently going through the same problem, peg broke. I was also wondering if you could still remove Gwen from the base after putting the glue on? Thanks.
