Nice to meet you! My name is Sabine and I’m a university student from the Netherlands. http://jpeghost.com/images/2018/01/26/330448s20v2.png
I started watching anime in June 2006 and reading manga somewhere in 2008. Most of my middle and high school years were spent obsessing over whatever series aired at the time and going to conventions. Once I started going to university I also started walking the path of a true collector, meaning selling my soul to merchandise every month! OTL

My first anime was Chobits. After that Naruto stole my heart for a while until Full Moon o Sagashite ran off with it. There are quite a few series that I’ve become a fan of in the meanwhile, but nowadays I’m mostly into Boku no Hero Academia, Yuri on ICE!!!, IDOLiSH7, and Touken Ranbu, along with what I watch every season. Some of my favorites from Fall 2017 were Houseki no Kuni, Net-juu no Susume, Inuyashiki, and Konohana Kitan ❤

Generally I’m not picky when it comes to genres. I seem to have more affinity with action packed series, but romance done right can play a beautiful song with my heart strings. Seinen, josei, supernatural, sports, historical, military, psychological, mecha, even harem, I’ll watch anything as long as the story is interesting! Or the characters, as for example with Nagisa Kaworu (NGE) and Jabami Yumeko (Kakegurui). I also really like re-watching series, so don’t be surprised to know that I’ve seen Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood six times or Ouran High School Host Club five times

Another thing I’m really into is the seiyuu fandom. My top favorites will forever be Sakurai Takahiro and Noto Mamiko, but I also absolutely adore Okamoto Nobuhiko, Ono Kensho, Inoue Marina, Yasumoto Hiroki, Kakihara Tetsuya, Tsuda Kenjirou, Hayami Saori, and lots more! If you ever want to talk about seiyuu with me, please do! >w<

If you’re like me and enjoy knowing about someone else’s taste in anime, I welcome you to my profile on MyAnimeList :D

FIGURE COLLECTING
My first figure was a bootleg Allen Walker that I bought back in 2009. After that I purchased Kobato and thought she had to be the most stunning figure ever made. Sometime later Nia in maid uniform decorated my manga shelf, which is where it stopped for a while. Then in 2013 I bought what I consider to be my first real figure, namely the Kashiwazaki Sena pink monster hunter figure. After that I started seriously collecting PVC figures. Now my aim is to one day own at least ten detolfs full of them!

I only started collecting nendoroids very recently (July 3rd 2017) because I knew just what it would mean for my wallet, but once cute little psychopathic Tanya Degurechaff looked at me with her icy blue eyes I was sold. So now that I’m finally burning in nendoroid hell I’m gonna do it right and get (un)comfortable, meaning collect all the play sets, dioramansions, and special backgrounds like the Kimi no Na wa ones. Anything for the display! :'D

Right now I’m mostly buying figures and stuff for later though, because at the moment my room is very small and there’s only space for two detolfs and one bookcase. So most of them are stored at my parents’ place until I find a nice apartment of my own.

DOUJINSHI / ART BOOKS
DOUJINSHI
I bought my first doujinshi in 2013 and have since continued collecting. The total number I own right now is exactly 200 doujinshi (last counted on January 21st 2018). I’ll probably be selling a few in the near future though

My favorite circles and artists are:
❤ Sashikiz / Gusari
(whose existence is the very reason I started collecting doujinshi)
❤ Longing Blue / Cotoriy
(very feminine art style but too beautiful to resist, especially since she draws a lot of my OTPs)
❤ tenten / Koga
(the only one who can draw Izuku without his eyes looking off)
❤ OJmomo / Yoshi
(does oji-san bottoms absolute justice)
❤ DECOPONS / Inariya Fusanosuke / Yuzu & Hassaku
(their sensual TaiBani art is a gift)
❤ Lego! / Nakagawa Waka
(just super adorable)
❤ Inumog / Fujino
(very detailed and colorful designs are simply stunning)
❤ Dalc Rose / Moshi
(non-BL art is very well known in the Magi fandom)

A lot of the doujinshi I own hasn’t been added to the MFC database yet unfortunately, so one of my goals is to add them all, as well as doujinshi I’m interested in buying.

ART BOOKS
So far my collection of art books can’t really be called a collection at all, but I’m trying to change that ASAP! My absolute favorite artist of all time is Ibuki Satsuki / 伊吹五月because her work is jaw-droppingly gorgeous:

Also please look at this 360˚ masterpiece ❤

Other artists that are really high on my list are:
- Kazuki Yone;
- Arisaka Ako;
- GEAROUS;
- Toboso Yana; and
- Nao Tsukiji

ITABAGS
As of 2017 my vocabulary expanded a bit when I learned of the word itabag. At the same time my wallet cried. For now I have a few franchises in mind, so I’ll list them here for easier archiving purposes and in case you’re interested:

IN THE MAKING
☆ Nanase Riku itabag
☆ Midoriya Izuku itabag
☆ TodoDeku itabag

IDEAS FOR LATER
☆ Boku no Hero Academia itabag
☆ Boku no Hero Academia sports ver. itabag
☆ KiriBaku itabag
☆ IDOLiSH7 itabag
☆ IoRiku itabag
☆ TamaSou itabag
☆ Cardcaptor Sakura itabag
☆ Mikoshiba Mikoto itabag
☆ Yamatonokami Yasusada itabag
☆ Kashiwazaki Sena itabag
☆ Kise Ryouta itabag

But merely having a lot of ideas isn’t enough, so my goal for 2018 is to finish one of the top three bags so I’ll have created at least one :D

If you don’t know anything about itabags but are interested, here’s a link to a helpful guide. And here’s some of my favorite bags that I draw inspiration from:

Hiina (5 months ago) #26138749Guess whose package arrived!! ;A;
I didn't notice it because I stopped checking but apparently the tracking page started updating again on the 18th. From there on it took only one day to deliver. There weren't any clearance charges either, even though they should've been €115. So I have no idea how they went about delivering this package, but I'm really happy it got through and even managed to save a lot of money on it!
I CAN BREATHE AGAIN but thank you for having been my proverbial inhaler for a while :'D

Aaaahh I'm glad to hear it finally arrived!! And that you didn't have any extra to pay :P Now you can enjoy your freshly arrived goods hehehe!

Hiina (5 months ago) #25801995Thank you very much for your reply!
Yes, that ''Dispatched from outward office of exchange'' part is the exact same place my package is stuck at. There still have been no updates in the past few days. I really hope my package will get the same treatment yours did, mainly because it isn't insured. You might think I'm reaping what I sowed, except EMS was REALLY expensive (over ¥10.000) and I really couldn't afford that anymore. ;w;
Mandarake told me something went wrong in Amsterdam and that's why a lot of packages worldwide can expect a delay of 2 weeks, so I hope it's that. Only I am in fact Dutch and I can't find ANY information about this, so I'm wondering if it's true.
Basically, I'm still panicking. :'D But less now that I know SAL can take way more days than they promise. So thank you once again for you reassuring words!

Oh nono I totally understand!! I avoid EMS because it's expensive, and I always get customs with them >> Which is why I go with SAL most of the time (unless I want something very fast but will use airmail then)
There is some info on Japan Post's website www.post.japanp... Apparently every mail type is affected in the Netherlands so I guess that really is why your parcel is taking so long.
Talking about status not being updated : trackings.post.... it arrived, but wasn't scanned in between AGAIN.
Do not lose hope!! If the delay really is of 2 weeks, then you still have some days to go xux"

Hiina (5 months ago) #25801473Hi, I just wanted to thank you for adding some TodoDeku doujinshi to the MFC database. There's so many nice ones out there, especially by tenten, and I want to help adding them to the website but I still don't know how. So, perhaps it wasn't much to you, but thank you!!
Also:
''I spent all of my college tuition on anime figures and now I'm here.''
That resonates with me because I'm doing the exact same thing :'D

Ahh, thank you! It's good to hear that other people are also interested in the stuff I add to the database.
I believe there's somewhat of a guide for adding things on the faq page, but it can still be a little tricky to figure out on your own! I'm always here if you want help adding an item and don't know where to start.
And who needs an education when you can have plastic waifu statues?

Hiina (5 months ago) #25559566Hi! I have a quick question about SAL shipping times, as I was lurking on the v.4 feedback thread and read you use that shipping method.
How long would be an acceptable time to ship items? Because it said 12 to 14 days when I selected the method but now it's been 23 days and the tracking page hasn't updated since 18 days. I'm really scared my package worth $600 might be lost and I'd love to hear someone say I'm just exaggerating and everything will be fine :')

Hello!
I will reply based on my past experiences haha. Here in France SAL often takes 10-13 days for me. But there are times when it takes 20 days. I even remember some packages taking 30+ days o.o
Last month I got something sent by SAL with a tracking number. It was scanned and the last info of it I got was "Dispatched from outward office of exchange". And then nothing. It wasn't scanned when the package arrived in France, and yet I got my package safely. So maybe yours got the same treatment?
One of the packages that took 30+ days some months ago had a tracking number, and turns out that the package stayed in transit for 10+ days. But you know, I nearly always uses SAL (mainly without tracking) and every single package arrived in the end so don't panic! It says SAL can take up to 30 days so it's still "normal" of you haven't received it yet! (But if after 37 days you still have nothing maybe opening a claim to the post office might help?)
I really hope you'll get your package in the coming days, especially with such value inside t.t

Hiina (9 months ago) #20532772I bought it!! ;w;❤
(even though that means having only €50 until May 10th OTL)
CDJapan and Amazon etc. don't offer it yet and I really wanted to make sure I'm getting a copy, so I also bought one through Aitai Kuji. :') Apparently they're really slow and they don't always reply to emails, but just like you I'm willing to accept a higher price and a longer waiting time if that means getting to see the voice actors do weird af shit just for laughs. 8D
Thank you for the quick response btw!!

Ah glad you were able to order one! :D

Hiina (9 months ago) #20530272Hi! :D Could I ask where you ordered the Yuri!!! on Stage event Blu-Ray?

Hi! I ordered it from Aitai Kuji - I generally avoid ordering from them as for me, its usually cheaper to order from Japan or from within my country, however due to Avex's restrictions I decided to accept the higher price and order it from them :) It also comes with the Animate exclusive Makkachin badge, which is a nice bonus!
