I have no clue why the mods of MFC allow this guy to continue scamming loyal supporters.

I've noticed that they are "Sponsored/sponsoring" here.

But if you look at their website there is NOTHING on it regarding logistics:

Shipping
Return policy
Cancellation
Shipping location
Privacy policy
Contact

Buyer beware...

I've also had issues buying from here. Stupid me didn't purchase through PayPal so I have to try and get a refund through my bank.

This shop is dodgy. Don't buy from them.
They won't reply to any questions about your orders.

I had something sit unfulfilled for a month and tried to contact them here and via email with no reply. Only filing a report via paypal got a response, which is probably because that will lock the entire paypal account up until the issue is resolved. I got my money back with a standard sorry we're out of stock type message. Then I see them posting they have stock on the same item here! So much BS!

Poethewondercat9 months ago#66613757Yes, it was resolved. They never responded, so I went to Paypal. They would not respond to Paypal, so I got a full refund. I was actually really sad to see this happen because it was such a nice figure, but I can't trust a company that can't even respond when a sale is on the line. It's a shame, but I'd steer clear of this company.

Thanks for the heads up! Figured as much, yet another scammer.

rogue_g9 months ago#66613384Hey, curious if this situation was resolved at some point or if you went resolving through PayPal? There's so little info on this shop to go off of and strikes me too similarly to nin-nin and their scammy business practices.
And they have a figure I want at too-good-to-be-true pricing soooooo yeah.

Poethewondercat11 months ago#64874481I'm starting to get really worried about this seller. I preordered (No Game No Life - Izuna Hatsuse - 1/7) on the 28th of July. I sent an email to confirm what the release date for the figure would be since on their site it says September, but the official Good Smile website says October. They did not respond, so three days later I sent a reminder to them.
It has now been a full week without a response, so I started doing some digging. I see the receipt I got from Paypal says their email address is playmodetoys@gmail.com, but the sellers name is listed as "AnimeNPC".
But wait, isn't that the name of another seller on this website? So I look and sure enough AnimeNPC IS a separate seller, with a totally separate email, website with different prices and with a way more professional look. AnimeNPC also says it's based in Boston, while PlayModeToys say they are out of Hong Kong.
I am currently trying to contact AnimeNPC to ask them if they have any connection with PlayModeToys, but honestly this all seems very strange, and if I don't get any answers soon, I'm going to dispute my payment through Paypal. AnimeNPC has the same figure I preordered at PlayModeToys for around $10 more, but if they can be bothered to actually respond, I'd much rather give a bit more money to a store that can tell me what's going on.

Hello! I saw your shop advertised for the first time recently and I didn't see any FAQ or general info on the website. In which country is your shop located/from which coutry do you ship the figures? Thanks!
