Hello, thank you for visiting my page! (^_^

Most of my figure photos are shared through Google Plus and sometimes on Flickr and Figure.fm.

I play piano, violin, and drums. I grew up playing classical music, which I still love. I am fond of nostalgic game music, mostly from JRPGs. I sometimes post piano videos on YouTube. I also have a ニコニコ動画 account used for lurking.

If I have time for gaming, it's spent mostly on Starcraft II on either the US server or the EU Server. I'd be happy to play with anyone here, 1v1 or team games, just send me a msg. ^^ I also play Osu! on occasion, as well as Dota 2, Civilization and JRPGs.

There was a time when I used to draw, but now my tablet is just collecting dust in a corner. My dA has some old stuff, but I don't update it anymore.

My time is now mostly spent writing PHP, Ruby, Java, Javascript, or Python.

RitsuTainaka10 years ago#1203637I think it asks you to create an online name when you login for the first time. If you've been playing offline this whole time, that may be why you don't have one yet. It's free to create one. Once you login, you can add friends by adding their name (mine is SpicyTuna) and code (mine is 149).Next chance I get to go online, I'll be sure to add you. I'll let you know when I do. I want to complete the main story first. :]

RitsuTainaka10 years ago#1203564Thanks for the comment! Feel free to add me in SC2, I'm SpicyTuna#149.I'm so noob at Starcraft II that I don't even think I have an online screen name or anything of the like. Do you just make one when you first sign on? Is it free? D'x

Omg Starcarft II! I had to buy a whole new pc motherboard for that game. I'm still in the beginning story. If I could have a buddy to help me with strategies and the like, thatd be perfect for online play since I'e never played online. Koreans scare me..

Welcome to MFC! Hope to see more of your collection.

RitsuTainaka10 years ago#1196979LOL, I'm not a fan of the Yamaha Hipgig either, but maybe they got some sort of sponsorship deal with Yamaha and maybe even Zildjian? xD I typically can't stand shows that attempt to portray musicians and their "soul wrenching endeavor to harness the transformative power of music" or some cliche bull like that, but K-On was so lighthearted-- the music aspect seemed more of an afterthought than anything else-- that I didn't mind at all. I saw it primarily as a slice of life anime, with the music theme as an unobtrusive backdrop. Now if the show had attempted to be a serious portrayal of the music creation process, I'd have all sorts of problems with it. xD But it doesn't, which is why I love it. It excels at what it is and does not attempt to be what it is not.

Sorry, didn't mean for this to turn into an essay. xD

No worries, I like to hear what people have to say about K-on!, since I never really knew why people liked it. My only guess was they liked the music, which I'm not fund of. I guess I was hoping the music to be the centerpiece, so that's why I was let down. Haven't seen Kids on the Slope yet, could be good, but I'm not much of a jazz person either. ^^

RitsuTainaka10 years ago#1196947Ya, I like Ritsu cause she's super friendly. The drums are just an added bonus. ^^ I'm actually not a huge fan of the music in K-On, but they remind me a lot of when I played in a band with all the practice, anxiety, excitement, and especially friendships that happened along the way. xD I admit the show portrays a rather rosy tinted view of the whole experience, but I suppose you'd rather remember the good times than the hard times, ne? ^^;;
I used to develop in Java, but I've recently switched to web apps, so I'm using PHP/Ruby/Javascript more now. Python is just for random scripting xD

I only saw six episodes of K-on!, because I got tired of all the playing around and teasing of Mio. ^^ I've played in a few bands myself, so I suppose that's what I wanted to see as well. They never practiced but when they were going to play live they played well, or rather, the studio musicians, not them, as I heard it. xD
I don't have much against Ritsu, I remember her behind a bit energetic, but I just can't stand her drums; They're so ugly... xD

I've done some web development myself, but that was a long time ago.
