gamergibbons • 8 years ago • #2334222Thanks for the encouragement! I'm currently majoring in Multimedia Management, which is a business management degree with a focus on media. So pretty much if there's no media jobs, it doubles as a management degree because it fills all the requirements. Needless to say, since this is technically two BA degrees in one, I've been super busy with the classes!
I've only gotten to the first death View spoilerHide spoilerwhich is Byakuya, and coming straight from the first game, I love how they kept the same design but made him huge and called him a relative HAHA and I don't know who did it yet (please no spoilers ><), but so far, the game flows a lot better than the first game, and the overworld is huge! There's also a few new features like enhanced relationship management so your interactions don't feel pointless like they did in the first game. There's also new things like a PET simulator (for when you walk around) and the controls feel a lot more tuned for the Playstation Vita (before I felt the controls were a bit stiff). It's worth a play if you have a Vita.
I have seen P5's trailer, and it finally gives me an excuse to get myself a PS4. Hopefully there will be a Persona 5 bundle (with maybe a red colored system?) because i'd totally be all over that.
Sounds like a great major! Hope you don't get too bogged down with schoolwork, though, that seems like quite a bit of work to deal with.

View spoilerHide spoilerYeah, I was sad to see Byakuya go so early. :( Definitely read Byakuya's FTEs once you've unlocked Island Mode! They're one of my favorites. I really liked most of the cast, though, while the first game's characters were more hit or miss to me. Yeah, I prefer the setting a lot more in SDR2. The first one was good at conveying dread, but the colorful island contrasts the events so well that it leaves more of an impact, and is much more fun to explore. Also glad you can teleport if you want, haha. I've only read the LP and borrowed a Vita to play a bit, so I hope I can mess around with all the new stuff later. It sounds fun!

Persona 5 in 1080p is a great reason to pick up a PS4, lol. I'm glad it's cross-platform so I don't have to rush out and get one right away, but it's definitely an awesome incentive to upgrade. A special edition PS4 would be a must-get for me too, though. :p

Let me know how you like it once you've played a while. :D Who are your favorite characters so far? You saw Persona 5's new trailer, right? I'm excited to see more! I'm liking the protagonist's design from what we've seen. Nah, definitely save some of it for merch, haha.

gamergibbons • 9 years ago • #2170526Welcome to MFC! I started collecting almost a year ago, so my collection is pretty small as well. University expenses have slashed my figure budgets though to purchase only a few times a year, but I really do enjoy the hobby!
