I've been a steady anime/manga fan since college (late 1990's), and started collecting anime/manga merchandise in 2002, mostly shitajiki. I started collecting gashapon and trading figure sets in 2002 - 2003. then took one look at the GSC armor saber in 2005 and I've been collecting large scale PVCs ever since. figure collecting is now one of my primary hobbies and it keeps getting better ^_^

Thoughts on Tsukiboard: there are a number of online communities for figure collectors. I'm rather fond of this one, although I haven't spent much time on any other. Communities like Tsukiboard serve many purposes for those who join, and investing in these is very rewarding. There are many ways to contribute and the ones I'll work on include improving the database and adding reviews (the latter is a new project).

Favorite manga/anime: ONE PIECE, hunter x hunter, hikaru no go, mushishi, full metal alchemist, kekkaishi, twelve kingdoms, kino no tabi, kara no kyoukai, seirei no moribito, xxxholic, berserk, claymore, bakemonogatari, yazawa ai's stuff

I am a fanatical One Piece fan, pretty much since 2003, and the manga (and anime) are both still going stronger than ever, and the figure output for this series has been incredible in 2010 - 2012 ^___^

- kekkaishi: yoshimori, tokine
- lodoss war (oav): all main characters (what a long shot ..)

- tsubasa reservoir chronicle: fai, kurogane, syaoran
- xxxholic: yuuko, watanuki
