    Dollfie Dream:
VOLKS’ line of 1/3 soft vinyl ball jointed dolls. These come in standard models and collaboration models, as well as the occasional D’coord. For more info on what’s a dollfie Dream

Dollfie Dreams come in a variety of different sizes in order from smallest to largest. Mini Dollfie Dream (MDD), Dollfie Dream Pretty (DDP), Dollfie Dream Sister (DDS), Dollfie Dream (DD) Dollfie Dream Dynmaite (DDdy). For more specific sizing please check the clothing sizes section.

There are many options when looking to customize, you can change the wig, the eyes, use optional hand parts, or even switch heads. Here is a link that has a good chart for interchangeability.

Standard models: These are a great starting point! Dollfie Dream standard models come with a base body (currently DD-f3 or DDIII), a head that has had a face up (make up), a wig, and a slip dress. They can be easily customized by swapping out a wig and an outfit. Standard models are also available at most Dollfie shops, and are restocked regularly.

D’Coord: Dollfie dreams that are coordinated in store by coordinators and sold at Doll point Akihabara~. These are full dolls, face ups, wigs, and outfits. It’s worth noting that if you pay close attention to the web store, they will also sometimes be available for purchase there as well. (Not frequently though)

Collaboration models: Based on anime, and or game characters. Collaboration models bring the characters to life in a scale that is uncommon for most anime and game figures. Collaboration models come as a full set, with a doll, wig, outfit, face up, and accessories. Collaboration models are usually limited in quantity, with many only seeing an initial release for Doll point, and the web stores. They may occasionally be rereleased every so often after their initial release, however it is rare. Collaborations Started in 2004 and going all the way up till now, with huge range of characters. How to buy
If you don’t live in Japan the best place to buy Dollfie Dream is of course Volks’ web stores Volks International or Volks USA.
In order to purchase you need to create an account at either store. Each store is individual so you will need to make one for both stores if you want to use them both.
Your location matters to some extent with these stores.

Volks USA serves the USA region.
    Volks international serves any region.

Standard models and available clothes, and accessories are purchased like most web stores.

It is possible to purchase a Dollfie in parts and assemble her on your own. There are three skin tones to choose from. When buying a Dollfie in this manner, be sure to get a matching set. Please also be aware when purchasing the head it will not have a face up (painted on make up), or eyes in place.

Collaboration models, and event outfits have a variety of methods that they are sold. When purchasing from the web store, most collaborations are pre-order based.

The first rule of pre-ordering from either Volks store is. You have two payment options. You can full pay immediately, or you can opt to pay a deposit and pay the remainder when the item is about to ship. The deposit is nonrefundable and usually $200, so it is highly recommended that you do not cancel.

Pre-order campaign: This style of order system Usually happens at least once a year. A pre-order campaign means anyone that wants to purchase the doll and or outfit may, all orders placed will be filled. Volks will announce an opening time and a closing time for placing orders. Once that window is closed orders for these dolls will no longer be available. Though if you watch the shops, items that had orders canceled may show up briefly.

Lottery: When a lottery style pre-order starts each customer may place an order for the item or items they wish to purchase. After orders have closed volks will draw winners and notify them. After that each winner can procced to their store account and purchase the item they won.

    Some lotto rules:

You may enter for as many items as you like, however there is a one entry per person rule. Volks will cancel duplicate entries and ban you from participating in future events. This rule is per person not per household. So multiple family members can enter, but Volks does expect every winner to purchase, and they warn that they may ban users form entering for canceled orders.

After lottery entries close, it usually takes around 3 days to a week to announce winners. When waiting for a notice about winning: no news is bad news. Volks does not inform or contact non-winning entrants.

Lottery items from Volks international and Volks USA are two different pools so you may enter in both lotteries, how ever the same rules apply to canceled orders.

Click war: A first come first served style of sale. A limited number of items will be made available, sold to the fastest buyers till the stock is gone.

    Dollfie event news!

Sakura Miku and Miku F3 reboot projects are available now at Volks USA. *edit* volksUSA removed the links as they sold out fairly quickly. I will link the international webstores.

    Sakura miku: www.volks.co.jp...

    Miku reboot: www.volks.co.jp...

The current time window is pretty small (11th to the 12th or untill supply runs out). I got mine in just now~
*edit* And they sold out in minutes...

There is still hope of another pre-order run, and any unpaid orders will go up (usually international first) so if you missed one and want another chance keep an eye on the store links!
