    Has anyone recently cancelled an order from AmiAmi, there was a case where they didn't allow someone to cancel.

    For anyone else who was hit by the D-Arts Izanagi shipping issue (shipping confirmation email listed a Touhou plushie instead), it looks like their customer service are back at work now, as I got a reply to my mail about it this morning:

    BananaParfaitHas anyone recently cancelled an order from AmiAmi, there was a case where they didn't allow someone to cancel.

    I think mostly they allow or deny cancellations depending on how long and/or how much you've dealt with them. I've cancelled plenty of things over the past couple years, one of the more recent being the 1/6 Azone Marisa. They've never denied me a cancellation.

    AmiAmi always said that they don't accept cancellations in their FAQ. I think Wammy was asking about in the original AmiAmi thread since the layout changed but I'm not sure if their policy has drastically altered since then. If you really need to cancel send them an email asking about it. Just keep in mind even though they accept cancellations undercover it doesn't mean that that policy won't change suddenly.

    Just a note on the last (-), AmiAmi does have more advanced stock levels via the cart system. You just need to add items you're looking at to your wish list and then view your cart (not your wist list) and at the bottom of your cart will be your wish list with a more in depth stock status.

    This is fucking ridiculous. I've paid extra for fast shipping and now I can't even get the goddamn figure. Thanks for personally amking sure I never buy anything overseas again, shipping company.

    How the hell do I get figma Homura now?

    Update on the stock counter. Overnight, Erio went from "10" to "Plenty available" and Cat and Chair went from "Plenty available" to "Sold out". Fate/Zero book is now "12", let's see what happens when it goes below 10.

    A lot of my figinstock went up too. I believe their stock was incorrect before a lot so they are fixing it now.

    Calm down, I'm sure it can be sorted. Incidentally, this happened to another member recently as well (can't find the thread at the moment, though). They contacted the shop in Japan and they sent the parcel back straight away.

    I guess this happened to you, the same way as one of my friends, they supposedly get something delivered, but the driver was either too lazy or due to the Christmas rush, couldn't keep to their time, to drop the parcel off and simply returned them all (5 separate parcels!!). I really would like to know how they work, but I don't know a Parcelforce driver, who could shine some light onto this.

    I hope you can get it sorted and get your figure as quickly as possible.

    I guess that's possible. Letters get lost in the post all the damn time. I've never had this problem before but if you didn't receive a letter from them can you actually pay off the charge? I don't have a letter to hand so I can't check, but I remember there being some kind of reference number in there that's needed. Because if not, that is pretty unfair.

    Also, do AmiAmi charge for having to resend out a parcel?

    Yes, you can pay the charge, which, I guess may depend on your local depot (mine is fairly rural and a relatively small affair). If you have another old letter from a previous charge, use that phone number and phone up your local office, with the tracking number for the outstanding parcel at hand (and your CC or Debit Card of course). If they are as good as they are in my area, they can look up the reference number in their system and let you pay the charge. I've had my parcel the very next day (I phoned 2 days after I've seen the retention message the last time, knowing the letter would take a while) and the letter came a week later or so. :p

    Like KILANI mentioned, they are probably updating just like the rest of the site. AmiAmi is still in transition so anything on the site, even the stock counter has to be taken with a grain of salt.

    This is currently the only way to get more in depth information on stock and once AmiAmi is stable this too will be stable.

    Also, while this is just an assumption, being the Christmas and New Years holiday I don't think they had any staff, or just a few. So any cancellations wouldn't get taken care of until they got back to work (i.e. stock rising).

    AmiAmi still hasn't fixed my December orders for me. They just tried to bill me for 2 combined orders of pretty much the same stuff + stuff I've already paid for and had shipped to me. Total cost: 120,00yen.
    Going at my third time emailing them about it.

    So, I sent Amiami a message about my payment issue. They said paying them the old way was the right thing to do, and that I should continue doing that for the time being if I was to continue getting error messages. They also said I should consider changing my browser to Firefox if I wanted the site to work better, but I'm really not up to changing for the time being.

    Also, anyone else experiencing a problem where they login and it takes them right back to the login screen? I won't let me look at the wishlist I made :/

    I'd take their advice and use Firefox. All my login problems were solved when I switched.

    Came here to ask about the same thing. Guess I'm not alone then.
    It's just the wishlist for me, though. Every other part of my account that I've tried works fine, I just can't access my wishlist - even if I'm logged in already.

It was working before I went to bed, 9h ago. The japanese workday has since started, so they are definitely working on it and broke something :|
