for the past year i couldn't help but be confused by the dire lack of decent ndrv3 merchandise. dr3 had figures announced before the anime even started airing, but a year after the game's release, v3 has yet to have a single scale or even a prize figure announced. the majority of the "merchandise" is just dumb badges with the characters' sprites on them and there's hardly any unique keychains/straps/etc that have been made. every other installment had d4 rubber straps and i was looking forward to v3 ones, but it doesn't look like they're going to get made at this point, it seems weird to me that they would skip out on an installment when they've stayed consistent before now. i'm just genuinely baffled about this...

i know v3 had a lot of bad ratings but it's' still stayed relatively popular since its release. could it be a lack of funds/resources, or something else? what do you think?

I'm confused about this too. Even though I didn't really like V3 all that much I've read that reviews have been mostly positive for it though there's a division in the fans' response to the ending. Perhaps the most controversial entry in the series but still seemed popular enough to warrant a couple of figures or even a kuji set of prizes.

Sadly too, the only thing I was looking forward to was Kokichi's Chara-Forme figure but now that's been butchered by Union Creative I guess I can go back to wishing for GSC to make that Kirigiri nendo.
