Hi, everyone, I just bought the Ram and Rem B-style Bunny figures, this past month. I just had some questions about weirdness with the boxes?

I bought Ram (ITEM #549503) on ebay from a US seller. The box looks authentic except it doesn't have the Kadokawa sticker on the front:

On the other hand, I bought Rem (ITEM #549502) from a MFC user and they showed me pictures of the figure out of the box, but then when I received it, it appeared to be shipped from AmiAmi? The shipping label has AmiAmi's address on it and appeared to be packed by AmiAmi (postcard and all) so maybe they decided to keep the figure and just dropshipped it from AmiAmi.

    Regardless, here's Rem's box:

As you can see, Rem's box has the Kadokawa sticker on it, but the tapes sealing it are different. There are no circle tapes like in the user pictures, just a single strip of tape on the back. Is this like when a manufacturer opens a box for QC?

I thought both of these figures were legit, but am I wrong?

As far as I can tell, they both look legit to me. A missing authenticity sticker isn't a sure sign of a bootleg - sometimes they get missed at the factory or internationally distributed units won't have them.

If you're unboxing them, the real test would be to put them side-by-side - if one of them is bootleg, they'll likely look hilariously mismatched. The paintwork looks inferior on the bootleg photos I looked at (but far from the worst I've seen) and there are likely to be areas the texture varies (e.g. shiny where it is supposed to be matte).

I bought my Ram figure from crunchyroll and compared the boxes they match 100% as well as the missing sticker... even the figure companies also forget about poor Ram lol. as far as the Rem figure Amiami does handle preowned figures, that Rem could have been resealed by a previous owner.
if you want I can post a few pictures of my Ram figure box so you can look and compare.

I think they look like good quality to me, and the blister packs for the pictured bootlegs looks a little different. I was leaning towards them being legit but got paranoid.

The weird thing about the box for Rem was that there's no sign of the circle tapes ever even being there? If someone had removed the circle tapes you would think there'd be residue or something left behind, even maybe an indent on the box.

If you could post pictures of your box that would be helpful, yeah.

I actually just got my Rem figure today. when I went to look at the pictures of the bootlegs I noticed that the bootlegs made rem and ram have the same chest size, while the legitimate figures have them proportioned correctly like in the anime(Rem having a noticeably larger chest).

It looks legit. it should also have a serial number in the box and the item itself (sometimes placed at the foot) :)
