I'm SO angry with NY right now...
I don't know if the site is going on some troubles lately, because in the past I never had problems with them...
But I have two paid items to ship, and they NEVER ship them...nor reply to my tickets...
Sadly is late to ask refund on PayPal...
    I don't know what to do :(

Just open a Chat with them tomorrow during business hours and tell them the ticket number you are waiting for an answer. They will contact the support team for you and you will get a feedback. Works for me every time! ;D

I think I did it! I opened the chat and an operator put a "follow up" on my ticket...but nothing changed :(
    Is it what you mean?

    Prolly is.

Their "follow up" is basically them sending a mail to the Japanese Ticket Support to tell them to look at your ticket already.
Because well, they ignore tickets a lot.

I didn't know that you can ask them to follow up until I saw your replies guys.

So I contacted the live chat yesterday and got the follow up.
Later after couple of hours I got a reply to my 3 weeks old ticket finally!

I found these 2 to 3 months of back and forth with tickets to be a bit too much work.

2 of the 5 tickets end up finding out the item pre-ordered and paid actually ran out of stock while i waited for EMS to resume. These are after many many chats and tickets.

For the other 3 orders, which is just shipping change to ferry, it gets processed quickly, maybe with 1 or 2 chat follow-ups.

Took over a week and also some chat follow-ups to combine store credits since only 1 store credit code can be used per order.

In case you are wondering, you can use store credit to pay for the shipping of a new order too. Example:

Item is 4000 yen, you apply a 5000 yen coupon in cart. Then if shipping is 1500 yen, then total is 5500 yen so you get billed for remaining 500 yen.

I'll be honest, I surprisingly never had any problem with NY before the Covid-19.
I pre-ordered in february and I'm waiting the figures since july so i decided to change the shipping method. They replied me VERY quicky?? and I paid extra fees as agreed. But now, I'm waiting again because they still didn't ship my order. I send them 3 tickets but they ignored me. I'm fed up of their negligence!

EDIT: After few attempts, I managed having someone on the chat. They said they will treat my inquiry asap, in """high priority""" they said... I don't want having fake hopes and being too naive but that's a good thing to learn they reply on the chat anyway. Even if I'm still scared that they'll cancel my pre-order.

A tip for who want to contact them: be VERY concise on your ticket or on the chat, as much as possible. It seems they ignore tickets which contain too much text and info. So please be careful, patient and go straight to the point.

I'm hoping everyone will get their order.

All those talks about cancelled pre-orders is worrying me a lot. Is it common or just because people who had no issue won't generally talk about it ?

I've pre-ordered one figure on NY because they were the only one that didn't request upfront payment.

In between then and the release date (which is in one month), they asked for the payment. I had an issue because my credit card wouldn't work and they replied quickly (in less than a day) to my ticket. This was around April.

Now after reading all that I'm hoping that everything will be fine... Which is not something you should be doing when pre-ordering an item tbh.

I’ve been stalking this form and the other one for the past year, it seems it leans on bad experiences, the good ones I’ve seen are far and few in between.

As for preorders it seems like it’s been particularly bad for them this year. Like to the point where you can’t even trust “in stock” as in stock.

Lots of bad reviews, however just received my pre-order from NY
Only released earlier in the month and they sent me an email to say they would be shipping soon.
Shipped over a week ago but sat at Osaka airport for about a week.
    Arrived local post today.
Box was larger than i expected, well packed, figure box wrapped in bubble wrap with extra paper around, had a tapestry as well, can't fault the packaging.
Figure looks great so very happy and was the special edition with the tapestry so happy.

So far had 3 orders from them, not had any problems even though i was geared up to expect problems due to all the complaints here.

A week later, I'm still waiting an answer. I contacted them via the chat once again and again, the person said they will reply me asap. They said they have backlogs... I understand but their organization since the health crisis is a true mess. Lucky are those who received their order. I feel like it's becoming a lottery.

It’s been 6 months since my preordered figure came out. I’ve sent multiple tickets and the only response I get is to wait out. I’m assuming my order will get cancelled at this point which is disappointing because the figure’s aftermarket price has skyrocketed. Never had a problem with them prior to Covid but holy crap this is ridiculous. After six months and their excuse is they have a high volume of orders. I’m never using Nippon Yasan after this. Use them at your own risk!!!

Got my last three orders with them: Takao (Alter), Chocolat and Vanilla (Native) and Wang Zhaojun (from Myethos, gorgeous figure btw) on EMS without problems.

But still waiting to be refound of Atago payed 13 months ago.

I still have 3 pre-orders left with them that I can't cancel because they are out of stock elsewhere, and I can say goodbye to them.

Got my another order with them - nendoroid of Sam Bridges. Got funny situation on my local post office, but it's ok now. I still have 2 pre-orders left with them that I can't cancel - 1 of them lost paypal protection, and I can't cancel another one, because they are both out of stock or have triple price =/
